I've been a fan of Patti Smith since 1975 and have always loved her music. Her photos are just as wonderful, and readily surpass those of Annie Leibovitz who just published a huge coffee table book featuring similar subject matter.

Was nice to see through her eyes and the things she finds appealing. The" art artist not the artist musician." If you only picture in your head Patti Smith the rock star it will be hard to see that person in there that loves art. Before this book I read "Just Kids".

Have been a fan of Patti Smith since the late 70s and this was a revelation, so much more interesting than many of the self indulgent photography books around these days
