As noted by at least one other reviewer, I purchased the Patuoxun 3rd Extreme Compact Flash Card Adapter based on the very positive reviews I have seen. Instead, I received a C-Ming Ultimate Adapter. I don't know anything about C-Ming and could only find very limited information on somewhat obscure websites. This type of bait-and-switch tactic whether on the part of Amazon or on the part of the seller does not sit well with me. I also find that the C-Ming card sells for less on these other somewhat obscure websites than what I paid. I will give the C-Ming adapter a chance, but my two-star review is based simply on the way this card was switched out. This is unfair to Patuoxun but Amazon doesn't provide another option for a review.

Item feels reasonably solid and worked right out of the box with a 4GB Eye-Fi. I was only about 15 feet from my router and transfer speeds are okay, but nothing to write home about. I would recommend this item as a cheap way to do wireless transfers with your Canon 7D.

I ordered this item specially to use with my Eye-Fi, so I can transfer the image from my camera to my PC or iPhone immediately. I had different CF converter that I bought it 2 years ago and it is terrible with Eye-Fi.

Than I got this one. I am using it with my 7D. Believe or not it better than my original CF card. Faster, Reliable, Durable. I test it with both JPG + RAW + Full HD video and it works like charm.

I highly recommend it to other.
Thankx

I purchased this adapter, a bit pricier than others advertised on Amazon, as it promised to work well with a high end WiFi card for my camera. My older camera only accepts CF cards. WiFi cards are all SD cards and the "word on the street's that CF adapters do not work with Wi Fi SD cards.
Wrong :) This Patuoxun worked very very well with my Eye Fi ProX2 card. Able to establish wireless network
The only aspect that does not work well is that the wireless network established does not let my access the Cloud storage feature which comes with this WiFi card. Hence my 4 star rating

I had multiple SD cards and Canon 5D classic, which only took Compact Flash Card.

I have tried Class 4, 6 and 10 SD cards and they all worked great with this Adapter, so it worked like a champ and as described.

Product company is C-Ming, not Patuoxun. Could be the same manufacturer, who knows? Have used it in a Canon 400D camera and works fine with SanDisk 16GB SDHC Extreme. Have shot a couple hundred pictures without any problems on a SanDisk 16GB SDHC. There is a slight suspicion that more battery power is being consumed. Since there is a conversion of parallel data and address signals on a CF to the serial input/output on the SDHC.

Other reviewers have complained about receiving a "C-Ming" adapter, and it's true, there is no sign of the "Patuoxun" brand on the product. Still, this "SDXC Ultimate CF Adapter" works where others fail! Now I can run an Eye-Fi Connect X2 SD card in my Canon 7D's CompactFlash slot.

The adapter's SD card slot even has the normal "push in to eject" feature, which was not immediately obvious. I'm not sure if you will realize the full write speed of a fast SD card through this adapter, but who cares?

I was expecting Patauxun 3rd Extreme CF Card Adapter- instead I received C-Ming Ultimate CF Adapter with a bar code sticker stuck on it labeled " 3rd Extreme CF Card Adapter". The item and the packaging look nothing like the one advertised. so far it works well with my wifi SD and my EOS 7D. I will have to get back to Amazon if it doesn't.

I don't want to go thru the hassle of returning it. Time will tell if it is reliable.

This worked great as an adapter for an SD card to use in my Canon 40D. I bought it so I could use the Shark IPad camera adapter with my older iPad when traveling to quickly download my pics. The setup works perfectly and I didn't notice any speed delay with the camera writing to the card.

I recently received a Wifi Sd Memory Card 8GB Class 10 New New Inc® 2nd Generation Ez Share for testing and review and purchased this SD to CF adapter to use with the card. Everything seemed to work perfectly with my older Canon Rebel XTi and the ez Share card. No compatibility or speed issues. Very pleased with this card so far.
