This shampoo and condition combo was introduced to me by a hairdresser. She ended up giving me a terrific discount on it, probably because she took one look at the terrible chop-job of a haircut I emerged with. Still, bad haircut aside, I'm thankful to her for steering me in the direction of Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Lavender Mint shampoo and conditioner. It's a definite winner!

This product, though not cheap, does last a very long time, and did end up being cost-effective. You need only press the pump one time if you're applying it to short or medium-length wet hair. I bought my bottles back in January of 2009, and 9 months later, I'm only now restocking. Since my college-aged daughter is back home for graduate school, I'm sure I'll be going through it much faster.

Here's the deal: It leaves my hair smelling wonderful and feeling soft and manageable, moreso than any other product on the market. The lavender mint also is fabulous for my scalp, which from time to time reacts to hair care products badly, by going all dandruffy on me. I've had no dandruff worries with these products.

I have terribly oily hair, and have to wash it everyday or by the next day its an oil bomb &my hair will have lost all of its volume. When I was introduced to the Lavender Mint Shampoo & Conditioner at a Paul Mitchell teaching school I was elated. My hair has never felt cleaner for such a long period of time. The lavender smell is absolutely great, not empowering. The shampoo is completely awesome, I wash my hair every other day now, and it doesn't even get oily until the end of the second day. While the shampoo is great, my problem is with the conditioner. For how much you have to pay, the conditioner isn't as rich, and so its not as hydrating as some Dove conditioners. I might have had an oil scalp problem, but I also have color-treated waist length hair &my ends are starting to seem more frayed. Might have to find a different conditioner.

I had a very bad reaction to hair color and my scalp itched and flaked for a long time. This shampoo stopped the itching and flaking COMPLETELY. It's the only thing that worked on my scalp and, believe me, I tried everything out there for flaking/itchy scalp! The smell is mild and pleasant. My hair is very soft and I can't believe how shiny it is! It not only made my scalp healthy, it keeps my hair healthy, too! I would recommend this to anyone!
