I am 45, my hair is thin and colored and my scalp is oily. I was confused as to which would be the best shampoo to use on my hair under these circumstances. While visiting my daughter who is currently in beauty school she did a lot of bottle reading before she recommended this product to me. And OMG I can't imagine ever going back to regular ole store bought shampoos! At first I balked a bit at the price...cause I am cheap but....

I love the tingly sensation, invigorating scent, full body locks and numerous compliments like "who did your hair today?" tee hee!

About every other day or so I'll put a smidgen of conditioner on the ends to make them easier to comb out. More would just be too rich for my hair; so I know the bottle will likely last me like a year! Using this shampoo has cleared up my problem with scalp acne, my color still looks fresh and my hair feels clean longer. This is a keeper for sure...thanks Angelface!

My hair stylist first turned me on to this shampoo and conditioner. She noticed that I had a lot of dandruff and had success with these products in the past. She used these simultaneously in combination with some other shampoos and conditioners and we could both tell the difference the first time. It wasn't long before I was purchasing this product for use at home as well. I intially bought smaller bottles but this time around, I went with the full liter sizes. I expect them to last a very long time, so I feel the price is justified.

As an African American woman with both relaxed and color treated hair and a dandruff problem, I woulld highly recommend this to others like me. I barely see dandruff anymore and I know it's a result of using these products. However, I caution that I wouldn't use the Paul Mitchell products alone. I still use them every time I wash my hair, but I also use other shampoos and conditioners that I have found to work for me as well. Do what works for you.

This is my all-time favorite shampoo and conditioner. It helps my scalp stay healthy and flake-free, my hair is soft and healthy, and I love the way it smells.

My whole family (2 parents, 3 kids) use this, and a liter lasts us 5-6 months. You only need one pump.

Works great and what a deal! The shampoo is very drying to the hair but buying the conditioner with it makes the deal even better.
Be careful not to get the shampoo in your eyes. It burns worse than regular shampoo because of the tea tree oil.

I love the smell of the product and the tingle, but the shampoo leaves my normally dry hair really, really dry. Unfortunately, the conditioner does not replenish the moisture well either. If you have normal or oily hair, this product would probably be perfect, but for those of us with thick, coarse hair there are many better options to keeping healthy looking.

I have a very dry scalp and I was excited to use this tea tree shampoo and conditioner for that purpose. I am often drawn to products by their attractive labeling, the pretty green bottles inspired me so it has that much going for itself. I have to say I'm awfully disappointed for the price I paid for this designer shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo smelled wonderful and left my scalp feeling cool and tingly but it also made my hair feel brassy and corse. I was hoping the conditioner would soften it up again and it does if I use three times as much conditioner and lather it up, however; once it washes out, it's back to feeling brassy and dry. It's hard to brush my hair because it leaves it so unruly and brittle where as other designer shampoo and conditioners do not. In the end, my hair is shiny and my scalp feels great so I will continue using it until it's gone but I'm not sure I'm going to buy this product again. I have yet to see if this will solve my dry scalp and dandruff problem.

Shampoo is excellent. My wife claims it helps untangle her hair. Conditioner is okay; she prefers her old conditioner. Also, conditioner doesn't have the fresh tea tree fragrance that the shampoo contains.

I have NEVER seen my scalp this clean (very bad seborrhic Derm for years). The feel of my hair is also amazing with this. You only need a wee bit so these big bottles should last you a long time depending on your hair length..

I love how the product's aroma therapy works. The shampoo drys my hair out though. It is so relaxing though- I just mix the shampoo with a more moisturizing conditioner.

I have gone through more shampoos than I care to count, especially in the last few years. My hair is thick and fine-textured and my scalp is oily. I don't have dandruff, but I have problems with my scalp being very, very itchy. Quite a lot of shampoos dry my hair out and turn it into tangled straw. Others weigh it down. I found good stuff in my daughter's organic, herbal baby shampoo but that still didn't seem to completely tame the awful itch I deal with.

Before buying this, I swore up and down I'd never spend this kind of money on a shampoo. Paul Mitchell products are far from cheap, and its not like I can just run down to the drug store and grab some. Still, I was desperate and had heard really good things.

I'm very pleased. This stuff smells amazing and will help clear your sinuses in the shower. The minty-herbal smell is very strong and lingers beautifully even after your hair is rinsed. Your scalp feels cold and tingly while you're washing. It lathers wonderfully and rinses out easily. The conditioner is thick, but not heavy feeling at all, and rinses out easily as well. A little bit goes a very long way.

It leaves my hair soft and full, which is awesome. My itchy scalp seems to be tamed, and that's more than I could have ever asked for.
