This review is from: Paul and the Stoics (Paperback)
So I am no expert and I have not even read the whole book yet but I am very excited to read every bit that I do manage to get through. I think this person is really on some sort of high level, intellectually, from most writers that I read, but someone who I think knows what it means to work at getting his meaning across. Such as a lot of experience in an environment where there is a two way communication and not just teaching down to someone, or so I imagine would be the case, from things like me being able to even understand what he is saying. It prompted me to go ahead and also purchase his follow-up on this book, the one on Paul and Self and Cosmology. I find these subjects of the greatest importance and I appreciate the authors unbiased approach and I was happy to see where he gets Paul in aspects that I have come to realize through my own independent reading of Paul, but which seems to escape the comprehension of normal church goers.
