My kids (5 yrs. - girl and 8 yrs. - boy) love these tools, and I like how they are contained in one box that my kids know holds their kitchen tools. We keep it right under the counter where the kids have traditionally pulled up the stool to help me cook, and we use it frequently. (They recently helped me make my birthday cake.) The tools are quality items, and most of them are fitted for little hands. My only comment would be that there are 1 or 2 items that aren't different from anything I would pick up separately at the store myself.

I bought this for my 5 year old grand daughter this Christmas along with Paula Deen's cookbook for kids. It turned out to be a very good gift to give. She has cooked with me and her mother several times. Unlike other toys that lose their appeal, she puts this in a special place in the kitchen and has made several things with her new baking kit. These tools have the quality of very good adult sized tools, but are sized for smaller hands.

These kitchen tools are good quality and super cute! My 2 year old nephew was the recipient for his birthday and they were a big hit!
