I bought this item assuming they would be authentic Southern grits(cooking time 10-15 minutes), however I was mistaken for Instant Grits. The cooking time on the bag says 3-5 Minutes. They taste fine, but I wouldnt waste my money on these grits when you can get the same quality from Quaker Oats.
