4.0 out of 5 stars If only the sound was better , BUT,,,,,,,
Yeah , the sound stinks...but the performaces are simply awesome!!!!! One can only speculate what recordings would have come out of Koss had he lived , but this extensive look into his first TEENAGER recordings is nothing short of stunning. PLease , please , please overlook the sound quality and listen to the humble beginnings of a sheer genius

3.0 out of 5 stars Listener's Blues
This is hard going for the average listener. The sound quality is pretty rough(I'm both a blues and a Kossoff fan but, I had a hard time listening to more than 2 or 3 tracks in one sitting). Several of the tracks are presented in two different versions and most of the tracks are very long jams. The guitar does, however, cut through better than the vocals or other...

Several of the tracks are presented in two different versions and most of the tracks are very long jams. The guitar does, however, cut through better than the vocals or other instruments. I gave this set three stars because of its historic importance.

This a good idea for a release if only you can truly hear what is going on. Sounds like it came from a cheap tape recorder. My question is, who profits from this? Is there a beter sounding cd of these cuts? I would love to know. For serious collectors only. Kossoff was a great guitar player but it is hard to really hear him on this cd.
