At first I was hesitant to move to Vista, but I needed a new laptop. This one is awesome. Vista is not as bad as I imagined - I even like it after trying it.

The laptop itself is light weight and has a sleek, modern appearance. I haven't dropped it or anything, but it seems very sturdy.

All the applications run fast. I don't find myself waiting on anything. It even starts up quickly. I haven't tried out a lot of the multimedia features yet, but the sound quality is excellent for the CDs I've played. I did watch a movie on it, the resolution and picture quality was very good.

I felt it was an expensive replacement for the laptop I had, but now that I have it, I'm very happy with this system. It was well worth it's price.

I've been using the laptop for almost a month now, and here we are:

What I liked:

- A cutting to the edge design, the colors and the silver material is artistic.
- 4GB of RAM is more than enough, I mean who would need more?
- Pretty fast, gets the job done easily.
- I liked the HP logo that illuminates, brilliant.
- The Webcam has good quality.

What I didn't like:

- The touch buttons (Multimedia) on the laptop are great and useful, but the problem is that they only work with Windows Media Player, and don't work with let's say Winamp for an exmple.
- The Windows itself (Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit) has many problems. It's going well but you can't install any program on it. For example Mozilla Firefox didn't work, even Google Chrome I'm having troubles with.

Otherwise, I do recommend this laptop for any student/home user/ or even a pro.
