Lineland makes excellent Nintendo music for the Playstation generation. Blips and bleeps abound in, thankfully, a coherent manner, making for a sometimes danceable album. Some would call it "cute", so if that's not your thing, steer clear. Although if you do, you will be missing an amazingly catchy electronic album. Each song is almost entirely different yet they still sound like they go together, which is kinda refreshing for IDM music.
RECOMMENDED IF YOU LIKE - Telefon Tel Aviv, Little Cat, Minikon, Boards of Canada, Styrofoam, any band on the MORR label

I listen to alot of this type of IDM, but this is the best of them all. I have, on heavy rotation, artists such as ISAN, I Am Robot and Proud, Lullatone, and, in glitch, Komet, Pole, and Frank Bretschneider. This not only falls right into that niche perfectly, it combines the best of all of them. Great for beats, production, mix, sounds...if you like any of the groups I've mentioned, then this is definitely for you...although not as "cute" as Lullatone or glitch as Komet. Don't pass this one up. Lineland's "Pavilion" will soon be your favorite as well!
