This is a pretty pricey hunk of cheap plastic. Flimsy, falls apart all the time, is nowhere near as big as it appears in pictures, the gas nozzles are attached to a hose that's about 2 inches long (not long enough for child to pretend he's filling up ANYTHING but air). I bought it for my 2 year old son to pretend he was filling up his new power wheels with gas, but I would never bring this thing outside for fear the wind would wisk it away and litter the neighborhood. Sorry about the poor review but really, $50 for this thing!?!?

Our grandsons were riding their tricycles and pulling up to a 'gas pump' which masqueraded as a shrub when they weren't around. So, we got this gas pump for them and they were thrilled with it. They are 5 and 3 years old. The credit card is a really nice part of it. A voice comes on and tells them to swipe the card through the opening. Awesome toy and we highly recommend it to anyone who has grandchildren with imaginations. It has two pump handles so there is NO arguing that 'I got here first'. It seems that regardless of what we search for, Amazon can be depended on to have what we want and at great prices.

I was so excited to find this on amazon, as it was one of the few presents my 3 year old asked for. It looked sturdy in the picture and was affordable so we purchased it for Christmas. When we started to assemble it Christmas Eve, we were not too happy. It was very easy to assemble (no thanks to the minimal instructions that were included) but it was not sturdy at all. We have had it for almost a month and it has already come apart. The stickers have peeled up, the hoses to the gas pumps are cheap and pull off very easily and it does not sit in the base properly. It does make noise and it is cute, but I am very dissappointed with the quality. Don't waste your money on this if you can find a better product.

My son really loves his gas pump. However, the top of the gas pump that turns and makes noise broke the first day he played with it. I would not resommend spending the money for something that breaks so easily.

I agree with the first reviewer. The hose line is so short and the gas handler comes off each time you try to use it.

I felt that this toy needed more reviews but I am still on the fence about it. I purchased for my two boys, 3 and 6. On Christmas morning my 3 year old was very excited about it, however hasn't looked at it much since. However, once it warms up I plan on moving it to the garage where I think they will get more use out of it by "filling up" their bikes, etc. Overall the toy is big enough and has accessories but I can't get them to stay in their slots. The reviews are right about the "gas pumper" not having a long enough line but I just plan on pretending that the handle bars on their bikes can hold gas. Overall I can't say it was worth the money but I didn't find any other gas pumps that looked any better.

My son really wanted this for christmas and after looking it over i thought it would be a fun toy for him to have and play with... Boy was i wrong within the first hour it was broken. This item is poorly designed and constructed very poorly. If this toy was durable it would be a great toy but let me tell you someone needs to go back to the drawing board on this one.. Please think twice before you waste your money...

Save your money and/or look for something else. This seemed like a great toy for our 2 and 4 1/2 y/o as they have the cozy coupe cars that have a little gas tank spot. However, as many people have mentioned, the tube that holds the gas nozzle is not long enough to actuallly make the thing insert into the gas tank without either detatching it or knocking the whole toy over. I tried crazy glue and hot glue and I've tried to imagine other ways to make it work. Also the toy pieces never really snapped into their spots fully. Thingsmove and fall out. Not fun at all, very frustrating for little kids and annoying for me b/c we spent so much money on it. After a year of owning it it finally hit the curb. We didn't buy it from Amazon, incidentally. Amazon rocks!
