5.0 out of 5 stars Raw Without The Thaw
This dog food really delivers. If you've been wanting to feed your dog a raw diet but are hesitant because of the hassle (remembering to thaw, cleaning dishes within 30 minutes of feeding, cleaning everything the raw meat comes in contact with too), this is a great food to try. 3.0 out of 5 stars Get rid of the flaxseed oil
If they would get rid of the flaxseed oil this product would be good for dogs. I am guessing it is a cheaper oil or the owners are not aware how harmful flaxseed and flaxseed oil is for dogs. There are betters oils for dogs undoubtedly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Raw Without The Thaw, May 21, 2009

This dog food really delivers. If you've been wanting to feed your dog a raw diet but are hesitant because of the hassle (remembering to thaw, cleaning dishes within 30 minutes of feeding, cleaning everything the raw meat comes in contact with too), this is a great food to try. It is Paw Naturaw's complete raw food diet, dehydrated. It is shelf stable and so easy to feed. I just put it in the bowl and watch my dogs gobble it up. If they leave any in the dish, there's no problem leaving it there until they finish it. So, there's no waste. My dogs LOVE this food. My dogs do tend to be quite finicky and easily get bored with their food so I do rotate with three other brands of freeze dried raw (Stella and Chewys Duck or Beef Dinner, Animal Food Services/Nature's Advantage All Beef Nibblets, Ziwi Peak Venison & Fish). One caveat - my little toy dogs are all quite fit and trim and they all eat more than the recommended daily amount of all of these foods. So, it is not inexpensive to exclusively feed these foods. We feel it is well worth the additional cost to feed such a good quality, organic food and to have such healthy dogs. Amazon has the best price on Paw Naturaw and I highly recommend it.

I use the Paw Naturaw Organic Beef as a topper for my 2 dogs' food, and they both love it. I know it's healthier than the canned food I used to give them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Real food for your dog!, February 9, 2010

I was tired of reading the ingredient lists on dog food only to see fillers and sub-prime meat. I wanted my Maltese to have something I would eat, something with mostly meat, some vegetables, and just the right amount of vitamins and minerals. It was thrilling to find Paw Naturaw. The Bison is low allergy, so perfect for toy breeds. My pup loves this food and is remarkably healthy. If you're looking to feed your baby something good for them, something healthy, something you would eat, then you have found the perfect choice in Paw Naturaw.

Our little dog loves these dehydrated raw beef crumbles.
PawNaturaw is a trusted brand, just read their labels to be impressed.

This product makes a great snack or training treat, or a meal -
we use it also when we travel, as the dehydrated product is an easy
way to carry raw food for her. (we store it airtight in a cooler when we are on the go).

Great product.

We adopted an older 15-lb. Chihuahua mix 5 months ago and I've been trying to get her on a high quality food for months. We've gone through several canned and kibble food brands. I've wanted to get her onto a raw diet, but have been wary of not only the maintenance of raw, but also the fact that she developed urinary crystals from a high-protein (over 25%) kibble.

I purchased 16 oz. of the beef (her fave) and have been rehydrating it and adding in some of her holistic kibble. She really loves the smell of the beef, especially when it's sitting and rehydrating...she perks up and waits for her meals, which is a stark contrast to what she was like before on any canned I tried. I also love that because she's on the smaller side, even the 16 oz. package will last us a while. The ingredients are certified organic and there is a good mixture of both protein (18% I think), vegetables, fruits, and vitamins.

It's also fabulous for when I forget to thaw her Paw Naturaw frozen medallions! I will always have this dehydrated raw available in my fridge.

I care about what I feed my two dogs and the ingredients in this formula meet my requirements - organic, raw, lots of meat, no grain, fruit and vegetables. And my dogs love it. I have a very picky eater and she cleans the bowl every time. I am very pleased with this product

5.0 out of 5 stars Just like beef jerky bites without the sodium!, November 6, 2009

Our dogs love beef jerky, but they do not get it because of the sodium content.
This beef makes their meals special and it is so versatile, I can't imagine feeding without it. It can be fed wet (we mix with low sodium beef broth and kibble) or sprinkle on top of wet or dry. THEY ALWAYS LOVE IT! And we know we can trust feeding it. It also mixes nicely with the raw chicken, which our dogs like.
We had some poisoning issues and trust only the USA for organic meats. We have called Paw Naturaw and know their meat is only grown in the USA, organically.

5.0 out of 5 stars finally a dog food my dog loves to eat, December 19, 2011

My Chin loves this food. He eats every bit. I do feed liver, chicken or some other meat mixed in with his Paw Naturaw. I only feed once a day as this is enough for my lil guy. Also I do not feed the amount recommended (2-3 tbsp. of the entree per 10 lbs. of body weight 2 x's daily). This is much too much for him, a tsp. to a tsp. and a half is more than enough (he weighs 10 lbs.). If you have a bigger dog or multiple dogs this may not be the food to feed as it can get expensive but for small dogs I think it is great. The quality of the ingredients is super, all human grade. Loaded with everything organic (beef, veggies, fruits, sea salt and vitamins) and no grain. You can check out the review of this food if you do a search for "Dog Food Reviews and Ratings" on the net. It gets a 5 star review. Stools are always well formed and firm, his coat is shiny and soft. I do not reconstitute as my dog prefers the crumbles in their dehydrated state.

This food is difficult to get on the net and is not available in stores in my area. Amazon is my source but only wish Amazon would carry different flavors of the entree to provide variety in his diet.

I recommend this food highly if you have a picky eater. A bit pricy but well worth it because if your dog won't eat a good food what good is it sitting in the bag? Refrigeration is necessary after opening. This is a raw, dehydrated food saving you the time and effort of feeding raw, but if you have a prob with a raw diet this is not the route to go.
