We tried other bones - you know the kind you buy from the pet stores but those made our dog sick. Also, those bones can be bad for your dog. Our dog is a terrier mix about 21 pounds we rescued from a shelter and the Paw Naturaw Organic bones are the best we've ever tried. They are just the right size for her. You must be careful when gving your dog a bone and the raw (uncooked) ones like these are the best. When she finishes "cleaning" all she can from off the bone, they become another toy and she likes to throw them around for a few days so they serve a double purpose. They come packed in dry ice and we give her at least one per week and of course supervise her chewing but so far, these are wonderful. She is high energy and these help occupy her time for serveral hours. If your looking for a good quality bone for your dog, I would recommend these.

Thank you Amazon and Paw Naturaw! I used to give my dogs bully sticks, and thought they loved them more than anything. Now that I am giving them Paw Naturaw bones, they ignore their bully sticks. Their antics over their bones keep me laughing. One day one of my dogs couldn't drop his bone even though he had to also be a good guard dog - he barked with the bone in his mouth - so funny! Those bones are definitely like candy to a child. My dogs are so happy and healthy thanks to Paw Naturaw! Thank you!

This is the fourth shipment of these bones I have gotten. My dog used to love them and they were wonderful, big, filled with marrow treats. This last shipment I got must have been end cuts because all (and I mean all four packages of four bones each!) were bones that were not marrow through and through, just marrow on one end and bone on the other. It was impossible for my dog to get the marrow out since it wasn't a bone with a hole through it. They don't seem to be the quality that the previous packages were. I don't know about different cuts of bone, but this is inferior compared to what I used to get from them. For this price, it should be better!

This was my first time ordering these bones and I was hoping for the price I wouldn't be disappointed. I'm a happy buyer. :) The bones arrived well packaged and still frozen (I also ordered the Paw Naturaw Bison bones). It was a nice quanity of bones. The marrow bones I purchased were 6 packages, each containing 6 bones inside. So while the price was expensive at $56 - we now have 36 marrow bones (at about $1.50 each). They are a bit smaller than I was anticipating (varies from about 2"x2" to 4"x3" each) but my dog clearly doesn't mind. I would buy again.

When I received these high-quality bones, I could tell they were still frozen - even tho' the dry ice was mostly gone. I don't think it took more than 2 days for me to get it here in SC. I could tell they cared about not just the product but also the packaging as these bones were double wrapped. If the thick outer plastic with the label on it was to accidently tear, there is another plastic layer to open so there is no fear of leakage or contamination onto your other frozen foods once you store it in your freezer.

I have a big German Shep Dog who loves these bones. I give it to her frozen right out of the freezer. But I only give it to her once a week so she knows it's a special treat. I would also recommend it for any dog that has to sit in a crate for hours and hours as it will give the dog something to gnaw on for hours and keep it's mind occupied instead of going stir-crazy waiting for you to come home. (as long as you don't cook it, the bones are basically indestructible and becomes a toy for them once they remove every trace of DNA from the bone. If you're a neat-freak, give it to them outside - also a good idea if you don't want to hear that grinding noise of teeth on bone for a very long time. Believe me, we end up getting our money's worth on exercising the dogs jaws!)

I have friends who have medium and small sized dogs. When they come to visit, I offer these bones and they ALL love these. My friends love it for their dogs too since they can read the labels for themselves.

I like knowing that these are organic and come from animals that haven't been raised on growth hormones & the ubiquitous antibiotics that are given to all animals whether they need it or not. I have heard that these chemicals migrate to and concentrate in the marrow. Not sure how reliable that info is but I'd rather err on the side of caution. Ounce of prevention and all that.

I know it may seem expensive but once you price in the special dry ice packaging & free shipping and a min of 30 bones (5 or more to a bag and I received 6 of these bags) it becomes worth it to me since at this once a week rate, it would have lasted me over 6 months had I not shared with other dogs. The peace of mind it give me - priceless.
