This thing really works! I've had a bunch of people ask me about it (I posted an endorsement on FaceBook a few weeks ago) and some folks say "Why not just use a bucket and a towel?". Well, let me tell you why...
First of all, the Paw Plunger has an "aperture" seal on the top, that keeps most of the water inside the receptacle.
Secondly, it has scrubby brushes inside to remove grit, salt, dirt, etc. Does your bucket have these?
Thirdly, the handle on the side is very useful - instead of just dipping a dirty paw into a bucket of water, something that even the most chillaxin' pooch might have a problem with, you just hold the dog's paw and leg stationary, and move the Paw Plunger up and down via the handle. Genius!
In case you doubt how effective this can be, here's a photo of the water after one walk when it wasn't even that messy outside...
All in all, and especially for the price, get this thing! It really works, is inexpensive, is well-built and solves a lot of the problems when you have dogs that go outside. We fill it with warm water in the front bathroom, put the top on it, and place it outside our entry door in the hallway along with a "dog towel" when we are heading outside. Then when we come back home, we clean up in the hallway outside our apartment, before even coming inside, then come inside and dump the dirty water in the toilet. This works GREAT!Read more ›
I wish I had gotten the size down from the large as it is huge. Also my male is afraid of it, but I will work him through it with positive training. It takes some getting used to it for the dogs, but it does the job. I honestly think the large should be for giant breeds and the medium would be fine for GSD's. JMHO.
I like to use a dab of dog shampoo that is easily diluted to help clean off the paws. Then I use a microfiber towel to dry paws.

My dogs hate this device, but it works amazingly well to clean their paws.Published 5 hours ago by Cherie S.
Works like it should. Just need to get the dog used to it and not be scared of the water in it!Published 1 day ago by Scootz
This thing is huge. But it works. I have 2 Great Danes and their feet fit right on in it. They don't really like it though so it's a little bit of a chore using it. Read morePublished 2 days ago by Jaximus Rex
5 stars because it works. It is much bigger than I expected and a little clunky, but definitely gets the job done.Published 3 days ago by Christine Holliday
Works like a charm! My dog hates to have his feet wiped - he's very sensitive (or ticklish) and he doesn't object to this at all. Read morePublished 4 days ago by fireworksgirl
It is too short for my long legged dog. Should have gotten a taller one. Regardless I use it and like to.
Works well to remove mud from his feet.
Great idea for animal feet that are exposed to salt roads in winter.Published 8 days ago by vasquez_1200
I was skeptical about this. But it works great. I have the medium paw plunger for my standard poodle. Now I can walk him across the floor without him tracking mud everywhere. Read morePublished 9 days ago by Shan Jarvis
