Very nice item. The only disappointment was the provided protection in shipping. The box arrived with the end burst open and the tubing nearly coming out. The tubes could / should have been wrapped to prevent chips & scratches to the painted finish. We tried to find a matching paint color in order to protect the scratched bare spots from rusting prematurely. Unable to find a matching paint color we ended up repainting one of the frame tubes completely. So...better wrapping internally and packing would be our highest suggestion.

The stand is very sturdy and literally snaps together. It is heavy. The stand consists of two 'feet' - shorter tubes with a connecting cross piece in a 'v' that the longer tubes snap into and secure with a spring-loaded button. The tubes fit loosely so that the end piece will wiggle back and forth. I believe this is a feature though. It allows the stand to be put together and taken apart easily. When there is weight pressing down on the ends of the stand, the tubes do not wiggle.

The product would be at four stars except that the box that the stand arrived in was blown out on one end and whatever packaging was supposed to keep the tubes secured and protected had failed. The tubes were essentially loose in the box. As a result, there was some minor scratching of the stand. Given the state the box and packaging was in when it arrived, I expected more damage. It wasn't enough for me to bother with trying to return it.

This stand is very sturdy -- great for a backyard without a lot of trees. Since purchasing this stand, we have had several storms with large wind gusts and it has yet to blow over. The color blends very well into a natural landscape. When the box was delivered, the UPS driver dropped it and the bottom of the box broke open. There wasn't a scratch on this stand! Assembly was a cinch. The entire thing was together in about 10 minutes.
