This may be one of the most important books ever written. It should be required reading in all schools (if there's ever to be a chance of straightening out our mess of a society that is). That won't happen though, not with America's system of public education in the hands of the Rockefeller Group. That's one point Commander Carr didn't catch. It's also one of the few.

Pawns in the Game is the culmination of a lifetime of research. If understood it shakes the beliefs of most readers to their core. The amount of documentation Carr found is staggering. The occasions where he produces it are the times when it's absolutely necessary to make what he says believable. Communism was created and funded by American bankers. Members of the same group were Roosevelt's advisors during World War II. Carr produces enough evidence to make it believable. Hitler tried to form an alliance with Britain in order to hunt down financiers from that same group. He didn't want to fight England. It makes sense. England and Germany were never natural enemies. Germany was the first nation to recover from the great depression. That's well known. Carr explains why. Hitler broke away from the International Bankers and enacted a system of monetary reform. Austria (Hitler's home Province) had enacted a similar system in the years that followed World War I. It was successful until the Rothschilds raised trade sanctions against them. Hitler's actions provoked the bankers to the point where they initiated war against him. Carr produces solid evidence when he states these cases. Much of what he has to say contradicts most of what we spend our lives being taught. But, when placed alongside historical events most of us know about what he says makes sense. The events we knew about end up making more sense as well.

This is only a small part of the book though. Carr traced the history of the money lenders from their beginnings through to the formation of the Illuminati by Adam Weishaupt. He also traced the House of Rothschild from their beginnings as the head of the group of Goldsmiths that financed the English Revolution. He explains their involvement in almost every facet of our history. He explains how these things were funded, and by who. He gives detailed analysis of their methods. The book isn't perfect. Often, he traces lines of involvement rather than chronological history (which results in moving from era to era and then back again in the next chapter). There are times when his guess work is obvious. But these are minor complaints. When a reader finishes the book they understand not only what's happened in the past, but also to see how those same things are being initiated now. This is just a small part of what this book covers. When a person is through it they don't see a conspiracy. They see a money trail.

This work should never be out of print. As a guide through the past it's astonishing. As a guide toward the future and how to influence its shape, it's invaluable. It's inaccurate to refer to this book as something one "finishes". Anyone with an appetite for truth never finishes with it. There's too much truth in there to keep from going back to it again and again.

One reviewer stated, "This book was recommended highly by Ted Gunderson, a former FBI agent who now speaks out agains the Globalists. Gunderson claimed this book is the best intro in the the plan for a one world government."

Compared to other, more current, books I have read this book provides more information in fewer pages. It also had footnotes and references to most (if not all) the source information and even a glossary.

I agree that this book is the best intro to the Globalist conspiracy that I have read so far. Even though there are many more current books, this one provided many answers to questions regarding the period from the time of Christ to to near the author's death in 1959. Once you have read this book, the more current books like those by Col. Donn de Grand Pre (2 new ones coming out in Sept. 05) will be easier to absorb.

I only found a few points that I would question on accuracy; but considering the amount of information provided that would seem to be expected, and I continue to find the "anti-semetic" label inaccurate. Carr is anti-Zionist and anti-Globalist, and he also makes the point that only a small number of Jews and Gentiles are part of the "New World Order" or Illuminati.

He is describing the most ruthless of international organized criminals who have murdered regardless of race, religion, or political party; so we all need to oppose it while we still can. The CFR appointments, the Federal Reserve System, the United Nations, the corrupt lobbyists, the Rothschild Empire, the thriving illegal drug trade, the assassinations of Presidents, the no-bid government contracts, the funding of both sides of wars, and the use of "terrorism" to destroy soverign democratic counties is history not theory, but it is certainly conspiracy, and this is the tip of the iceburg.

Attention all students of the New World Order and the Secret Government!!! "Pawns in the Game" may be the most revealing, in-depth writing you will encounter while on the road into the dark realities of the machinations of the Illuminati, Freemasonry and the New World Order. Though written nearly a half-century ago, Carr is unrestrained in his endeavor to unmask the little known aspects of history and how the workings of a few powerful men have orchestrated revolutions, world wars and carried out assassinations. Learn the secrets behind the money manipulations and the political intrigues that have shaped the course of history. This writing is second to none in its step-by-step deciphering of historical events and the clarifications of the mis-information so many of us have been subjected to and accepted as fact. An absolute must read!!!

The author of this book, Commander William Guy Carr, fought on the side of the Allies in both WWI and WWII, and as such, he was privy to much inside information not generally available to the common man. Besides that, Commander Carr obviously had developed ties and connections which allowed him insight into many of the behind-the-scenes details of both those wars, and the intrigue that occurred during the time between.

I think that the most interesting piece of information that Commander Carr uncovered in this book is a speech given by the German Jewish goldsmith Mayer Amschel Bauer, who changed his name to Rothschild and founded the infamous international banking family of the same name. This speech by Bauer/Rothschild, found in Chapter 3 entitled "The Men who caused the French Revolution, 1789," is undoubtedly the modern-day origin of the infamous "Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion."

It seems that history has for some reason ignored the proven facts presented by Commander Carr that in 1773, when he was only thirty years of age, Mayer Amschel Bauer invited twelve other wealthy Europeans to meet him in Frankfurt-on-the-Main in Germany (the Rothschild base of operations at the time), where he gave a speech that proposed a plan whereby Rothschild and his conspirators and collaborators could gain control of the majority of the resources of the world, and control all the people of the world, and a summary of the speech can be found in the book. In 1785 the Bavarian Police captured the text of that Rothschild plan in the original "protocols" discovered in the possession of the Illuminati courier Lanze, who was struck down by lightning en route from Frankfurt-on-the-Main to Paris with the Bauer/Rothschild speech "Einige Original-Scripten" on his person, which had apparently been put into writing by Adam Weishaupt and which was eventually published by the Bavarian Government in 1786, and which was followed shortly thereafter by a raid of the houses of Illuminists Zwack and Bassus by the Bavarian Police. These incidents have apparently been mostly ignored by the authors of history, but it is these incidents that identify the origin of the infamous "Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" and the beginning of the modern-day communist movement.

This is the type of incredible, but true, information that can be found in this book, and it only serves to prove the fact that as long as a conspiracy is active, it will be continually denied by those who have a vested interest, and the Rothschild family has the most vested interest in the conspiracy in the world today, and a desperate need to keep the truth hidden from as many people as possible, lest they experience in this world what they will truly experience when they finally leave this world and go into the world beyond.

......this book was written in the fifties......& I laugh when you go to all these "anti-masonry" websites & other socio-political places that refute much of what is written in this book..............but again, this book was written in the FIFTIES(?!?).....& I will quote to you verbatim what is written in only the PREFACE of the book..............."Pike's plan was as simple as it has proven effective. He required that Communism, Naziism, Political Zionism, and other International movements be organized and used to foment the three global wars and three major revolutions." (I will skip down a couple of paragraphs due to lack of space, but BELIEVE ME, it pretty much nails the head of the events behind WWI & WWII !!) "World War Three is to be fomented by using the differences the agenteur of the Illuminati stir up between Political Zionists and the leaders of the Moslem world. The war is to be directed in such a manner that Islam (the Arab World including Mohammedanism) and Political Zionism (including the State of Israel) will destroy themselves while at the same time the remaining nations, once more divided against each other on this issue, will be forced to fight themselves into a state of complete ehaustion physically, mentally, spiritually and economically. Can any unbiased and reasoning person deny that the intrigue now going on in the Near, Middle and Far East is designed to accomplish this devilish purpose?" (Phew!) Some heavy stuff, eh? Gee, what's going on in the world right now? This guy (no pun intended...!) couldn't have seen any of this coming back in the FIFTIES if there were no truth to any of this, now could he? (shaking head) It's a thick book because it's written at a rapid pace, and at times much of it is overwhelming, but there are points where you quite literally swallow all that you have read and it goes down easy, like your favorite meal. It just ultimately sits well and brings the proverbial "big picture" more into focus. I applaud anyone who finds this book and reads it, only as another information source to historical (and future?!?) review. I emplore all of you who wish to think freely to give it read.....it won't hurt to get another angle & possibly "expose" those "who work and live in shadows"........

A book for those who love the dark side of politics. Carr discusses the illumanati and how they are agents of the devil. He shows how the illumanati go far back into history and how they are the power source behind all intrigues. This book is written in a fluid style. It is a good read. It is one of the better books on conspiracies,since it traces illumanati influence throughout history. It may be easy to smile at conspiracy books,especially this one since the information they give is truly amazing. However, it must be kept in mind that conspiracy theorists and believers are not kooks, but political and social skeptics,who are after truth. With this in mind,Carrs book raises some very disturbing claims and evidence that point out that things are rarely what they appear to be and that truth is indeed much stranger than fiction.

A good description of this book might be (Mentioning what history do not mention). For it deals with biggest events of the world since the late of the seventeenth century until the second half of the twentieth century.
The author, as shown in the ninth chapter, was a commander in the MI5 before 1916 and then transferred to the naval force, then to the Zionist office after a recommendation from (Weisman) the former president of Israel.
This book didn't get a wide acceptance among the public, because Zionist facilities waged a war on it and categorized it under the anti-Semitic category of books. This is clearly understood since the author reveals a lot of hidden facts that - and read very carefully now - that (SOME) of Jewish profiteers were controlling almost every important change in the course of history.

We do not accuse the Jewish people ,Jews were - and always continued to be - a vital and donating factor to humanity , just remember that Elie Metchnikoff,Albert Einstein ,Glenn Gould , Leonard Bernstein , Isaac Perlman , and the list can go on forever , these noble guys were Jews and were -at the same time - a pride for the human race .

This very fact can really purge some sick twisted (claiming-to-be) Jewish warlords that considered themselves(humans) and looked at other people as (Goyim) (a Yiddish word that means non-Jewish and is very offensive since it consider the goyim to be at the same level of an animal).

So is this an anti-Semitic book?!

Conspiracy theories are very popular these days . you can get the tag of a ( paranoid ) easily by adopting one of them .
I believe that reading history well and contemplating into it would really enlighten the true nature of politics ... they say ( cherchez la femme ) , I say ( look for the profiteer ) ... of all changes and major conflicts during contemporary history who reaped all the benefits ?

The Rothschilds are one of the most powerful elite bloodlines in history. Just read Fritz Springmeier's book "Bloodlines of the Illuminati" which is free online if you use google correctly. There is no getting around that Adam Weishaupt set up the Bavarian Illuminati on May 1 1776. It's a fact. Jews have nothing to do with the Illuminati or Masonry? Again, someone send this negative reviewer some books and links. The Rothschild line is Jewish; so there you go. That's just one example. And see my review of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion for a short cast of Jewish characters doing the bidding of the Illuminati throughout history. Even if Mayer Amschel did not write out what would later become the protocols, I would not be surprised of Theordore Herzl actually wrote them as the Zionist Congress in Basle since Herzl was backed by the Rothschilds.
Not only that but the Rothschilds had been the forces behind Zionism long before Herzl came on the scene. To confirm this, one must read David Icke's books "ATTSSYF" and "TBS."
But if he does not wish to shell out the money yet, he can find for free on the internet David Icke's essay, "Was Hitler a Rothschild" and Arnold Leese's essay "Gentile Folly: The Rothschilds." David Icke's essay recommends and quotes the book "Two Rothschilds and the Land of Israel" and I suggest that reviewer pick it up and learn something.
As for the pyramid and the all seeing eye, these are in fact Illuminati symbols. The pyramid symbolizes the structure of who rules the world and the all seeing eye is that of the Egyptian god Horus; or the eye of Lucifer. Icke's research into Africa and Credo Mutwa reveal the all seeing eye is in Africa too and it represents that of an alien race called the watchers. This was put on the back of the American dollar bill in 1933 by a Freemason President, FDR and there are 33 degrees of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry; yet more symbolism.
For a final installment on symbolism, consider the name Rothschild itself. Mayer in his Frankfurt banking house hung a red shield over his door with an occult Hexagram on it. As Fritz Springmeier explains, "Mayer Amschel Bauer was a well-off coin trader in Frankfort. In front of his house hung a sign with the family's symbol, which was a red hexagram. The hexagram (also known as the Seal of Solomon, the Magden David, or the Star of David) is very occultic. It is used today as the symbol of Israel, but It is not ,,Jewish." In his excellent book THE SIX-POINTED STAR, O.J. Graham explains that the hexagram was used in the ancient mystery religions...Through the promotion of the Cabalists and the Zionists it has become the symbol of Jewish identity, although the occult circles know better. The Bauer's use of a hexagram as their family sign points to their involvement in Jewish Cabalism. In fact, the six-pointed star was so significant to them that Mayer Amschel Bauer decided to adopt it as his new name - Mayer Amschel Rothschild (Rot-schildt = Red Shield). I believe this was done to identify his family with occultism."
David Icke also explains this briefly in is Was Hitler was a Rothschild essay. I caution this negative reviwer to do some research before he further insults my intelligence and that of others.

Written in the 1950s this book is an exposure of the new world order from a right wing Christian viewpoint. Yes Carr gets some of his facts and opinions wrong. He also throws around terms like "Illuminati" way too much for my tastes. Another fault is being a Christian he attributes most of the worlds problems to a certain naughty fellow named Satan and doesn't understand that Christianity is also a tool thats used by the new world order to control and brainwash the masses. However unlike most of the current writers and people who research and write about the new world order Carr is not plagued by political correctness. In other words he is not afraid to say the "J" word. He also understands that all roads lead to a handful of oligarchal banking and business families. Carr shows how these elites created communism, fomented wars, funding both sides of virtually every major conflict going back to the days of Napoleon, increasing their wealth and power in every instance. This book is not perfect but its still a classic in the field and a must read for doing research on the new world order.

Carr who worked in intelligence during WW2 reveals data which is not available from other current sources. His detailed footnotes and sources leads to even more details. His accounts of events concurs with other reliable sources and without taking an opinion of his own, except in the last chapter, he walks the reader step by step through the dis-information offered as history by the western media and state sponsored shool text books.
