I can't believe the deal I got on these at $29.99 WITH a free Magazine subscripion. I really wanted something warm to put on my feet. Even though I live in Florida it has been an unbelievably COLD winter. I love these. Despite mixed reviews, I ordered a size up, I'm a 9 1/2 and I got the 10. They are really WIDE which is probably why people say to order a size down. But the length is right on. They look great, not cheap at ALL like some you see at a comparable price. The heigth is perfect so you can roll them down to show fur at the top. You can tuck just about any jeans in these also.

I really enjoy the Bearpaws boots and was thrilled to find these at such an economical price! I ordered the black and the chestnut. The difference between the Bearpaws and the Pawz by Bearpaws seems to be the amount of fleece in the boot and the snugness of the fit. Bearpaws has thicker more cushioned fleece lining and a bit more give to the fit itself. Pawz had less (but still genuine) fleece and fit tighter. I wear an 8 in the Bearpaws with total comfort but should have ordered a 9 in the Pawz for a better, more comfortable, fit.
With that being said, what's the bottom line? These Pawz are basically 1/2 the cost of the other tall Bearpaws boots and well worth the dollars you will invest in them.

When I purchase this boots, I believed the brand name-Bearpaw. I have two pairs of Bearpaw boots. I am so satisfied with them so far. That's why I chose this one.
Although the fur inside boots is thick to keep warm my feet, it's not soft. If you consider to buy this one instead of Bearpaw, you should swallow your expectation.

I ordered this exact boot about 2 years ago and loved them. The quality was top notch and they fit perfect (I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8). I wore them so much I needed a new pair. So I hunted and found the same boot and ordered them again. I just got them yesterday and they are not the same boot as what I got 2 years ago. I orderd the same color (chesnut) and the ones I got are almost brown. I also ordered an 8 and the new boots are really tight as an 8, my toes are crammed in the end. The new boots are more narrow than the old boots, and the quality is poor compared to the old boots. The stitching is poor, the sole doesn't look attached well and the boot is really light compared to the old boot and I'm not sure why. I don't know what happened from 2 years ago until now in the manufacturing of this boot but I'm returning this poorly made boot. It's a shame...I love my old Bearpaws and want to get another pair, but if quality has dropped this much I'm re-thinking my purchase.

An excellent alternative to Uggs. The Pawz by Bearpaw are well made and affordable. The Bearpaws come in several boot length options. I purchased the 12 inch lug boot. Since I live in Chicago, it is important to have a boot that serves many purposes: warmth, fashionable, durable, and comfortable. I have worn them in six inches of snow and my feet never not got cold or even worse, wet. I have worn the boots both with and without socks. With socks, my feet sweat. I actually prefer to wear the without socks. The wool inside is thick and soft, I love the way the wool feels on my shins. The boots do run a little big in size, because with wear, the suede uppers stretch. So, I would suggest sizing down for a snugger fit. Furthermore, the suede uppers are well made and lush. I purchased them in black and all it takes is an occasional brushing and they look new again. The lug sole does make a difference. I have had a pair without the lug sole and found myself skidding on an unexpected ice patch. I do appreciate the added traction. Many people have commented that the boots look far more expensive than what I paid. The boots are truly worth every penny.

This is my third pair of BearPaws. I love them. I think they are just as good as Uggs are, except for Ugg shoes that have great arch support. The outside is good quality suede and the inside seems to have a thicker padding of shearling and wool than that of Uggs. I will say that they don't have amazing arch support so if you have a high arch this may not be right for you. The slippers are dreamy and even have hard soles for stepping outside if needed. As far as warmth goes, I live in Nebraska, and I can go out in freezing temperatures wearing my boots with no socks on and not be cold. I can also wear heavy socks and not sweat, which my husband would say, I have stinky feet usually. As far as size goes, I am a 6.5 and I have size 6 boots and slippers and size 7 boots and both work. The 6 is tight with thick socks though but the 7 is almost loose. With regular socks though, I'd have to say I like the size 6 better. Anyhow, I strongly recommend these! Buy them, you will love them!

I have been looking for some suede boots like this for a long time and couldn't find anything that looked decent or was priced decent. I originally wanted the Brumby Shearling boots, but got these instead because they had the color I preferred. When they arrived I treated them with a stain protectant and waterproofing product, and I have never had an issue. Only ONCE have my feet gotten wet and that was because I was walking is SLUSH for a long period of time, and still my feet were BARELY damp! I have walked in DEEP snow (4+ feet) and I have walked in SLUSH, and DEEP puddles and my feet remain warm and dry! They're relatively good for being slip resistant, especially here in Colorado where we have lots of snow AND ice. I bought an 8 and could have used a 7 or 7.5 but it's nice cause if it is particularly colder than usual I can wear thick socks, or even 2 pairs of socks, and still be comfortable. I even mucked around with my dirty dog and my boots stayed decent and cleaned up easily. They may not be the most fashionable boots ever, but they're cute enough to wear with a skirt on warmer days, and get me through the snow in a LONG cold-season when my favorite heels are long forgotten.

these boots are super warm! they rub against the back of my heel sometimes. i had to send them back once to get a bigger size. i wear an 8 usually and these boots called for a 10 for comfort, probably cause they are so thickly insulated inside. overall i like these boots, they are a nice style. if i could ask for something to be changed about them it would be to somehow fix the rubbing against my heel but really its not bad. they are a little clunky as you walk because of the lug sole but i don't mind that.

LOVE EM, LOVE EM< LOOOVVEEE EM!!!! They are very thick, super warm, and the soles are thick too! I didnt want cheap, thin soles... but wow are these thick! they will definatley last all year! The boots are so thick that when you take them off the legs dont fall over either!!!! they are very tight... so you cant fold over the top and have the wool show.. but they are my favorite boots! I will definatley buy another pair when these wear out!

I looked online for hours one day trying to find a pair of boots similar to ones I had years ago that got ruined. These were one of the few designs that actually looked like a boot & not an ugly UGG. I was SO excited that I finally found the pair I've been looking for, for months! I wear a size 9 1/2 - 10, so I got the 10. I was VERY disappointed as I put them on & they fit more like a 8 1/2-9 & they were too small at the calf. I don't have thick calves & I could barely fit 2 fingers in them. They are going back ASAP! VERY, VERY disappointed!!!!
