Impressive solo debut - 4.5 stars, August 4, 2008

Sparks, a member or the State Property gang, finally drops an album of his own. Although I would have figured that their would have been an Oschino & Sparks album before a solo, it's still nice to hear from the State Prop member and he delivers a very nice album, maybe worthy of 4.5 stars. With his somewhat odd delivery and voice, he has a different sound then a lot of rappers out now. Although he has many hood tales and hustling tales, he delivers them in a way that isn't the same as everyone else.
With 16 songs on here, 1 is almost a classic, 5 are ok, and the other 10 are good or real good songs. Guests aren't real heavy, on 3 songs rapping and doing the hook on 2. I was a little disappointed only 1 other State property member is on here. Production is nice as well. K.P. does 5 songs, Black Key does 4, Ruggedness, Moss, Versatile, Bubbie Sanchez, William borck Jr., Doc Stone & Jimms all do 1 song. A nice album to have for dans of the State prop Gang.
