4.0 out of 5 stars A book for reading and use for growth June 28, 2009
This book offers extremely good social and spiritual work with an added plus of a business survival grounding for everyday performance. That's hard to achieve and this book does it well.

The constant search for one's worth is not just a marketplace figure, it is always changing and you can change the outcomes.

The book contains a wonderful working tool by way of a list of 12 key terms that help to tune up your awareness, self-esteem and ability to see your current worth and value as viewed by yourself and ... as others see you.

I'm quite sure that anyone could increase their value and worth by doing the exercises offered in the book. You can choose to do this by yourself or enjoy the added input of others in a group.

I'm a fan of works and wisdom by Allen Watts, Ram Dass, Deepak Chopra and others. Their wisdom was always welcome. This book does not preach. It works with the reader to accomplish the "hard part" - the "doing part" of change to a higher level of personal growth.

Souldancer departs from the crowd in that he brings this individual change process from a quasi-spiritual level to a down to earth personal negotiation with the marketplace. This is enjoyably different.

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Changing and not what I expected June 16, 2010

When I picked up Pay Me What I'm Worth, I thought to myself that I already make good money, why do I need to read this book? But as I flipped through the book some of the questions that I noticed really popped out at me. Questions like am I spending time where people are lying to me and is that really the best use of my time. How are my choices affecting my income? I choose to live in a smaller city, work fewer hours, and spend time with my granddaughter. As I look at these things now, I realize I could be making more money elsewhere, but I have chosen to make the money I am making now to have the lifestyle I have. And really that is what Pay Me What I'm Worth is all about, a review of your life, values, and even thoughts, to see truly where you are and want to be. I am not the same person I was before I read Pay Me What I'm Worth and I will be reading this book many times again.

I am reviewing the Kindle Edition, because although I was hooked on this book in paper copy, I only read books in electronic format anymore. The Kindle edition worked really well on my iPod.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Journey Worth Taking June 20, 2010
This is more than a book to read, it is a journey well worth taking. It is a guided exploration of your values, and a deep look into what you value most, not just in your thoughts, but in the way you live your life. It guides you in exploring your choices, your beliefs about worth and your own sense of worthiness in a non-judgmental way. Soul's insights and practical exercises take you on a journey way beyond the notion of being paid what you are worth in $ and cents, and into the realm of how you can truly live your most satisfying life. Thank you Soul for guiding me on a magnificent journey of self discovery.
