Great sound track, till you see the movie...The choice to leave Jimi Hendrix's VooDoo Child leaves me cold to this CD, as it was a powerful part of the movie experience (no pun intended....it even sounded like it was a slightly different arrangement of the song as well

From "Ain't it a kick in the head" to "the thrill is gone", this CD has it all for the listener with any taste. Some songs sound 30's, giving the CD some nostalgia. Other songs aim for the soul, while others are just good music. Whatever your tastes, this is one soundtrack you won't regret buying!

Tracks 8, 10 and 11 are great. The cd in general could have been better, but it reflects the movie which by the way was excellent.

Studios don't "dump" songs from their soundtrack CDs. Some artists or their estates only give permission for songs to be used in the film but not on the CD. Or permission is granted, but the cost is too high. It's rare that you'll find a CD with every single song featured in a movie, even if it's a double CD. Class dismissed.

I'm already very familiar with the tunes that are on this CD. The songs that I'm after are the funky ones or the less known tunes. Can you help me with this or are these just filler tunes by studio musicians and can't be found?
