This was a must read. if you liked Drug Related, you'll love this! Throughout this book I questioned everyone. Who kidnapped Black's wife, Shy? What was Bobby keeping form Black? Who is the women who wants Shy killed? This was a suspense novel for real. Now, I am good at seeing foreshadowing in a novel, but thios one, I was soo off. If you are a Mike Black fan, do you remember the chick he was with before Shy? Well that's all I am going to say. This book was hot. It's as if you are with them through all the drama.

We may have to battle for that #1 fan title...

Roy Glenn, all I have to say is keep them coming... I can't wait to see what you have in store for us...

Mike Black is back in the streets of New York, he has left paradise in search of his kidnapped wife Cassandra 'Shy' Black... now it's upto the entire gang, (my fav. Nick Simmons and Freeze) to step up and help Black out... I fell for Bobby in this one too... That's the thing about Roy's books... every time I pick one up, I fall in love with characters he forces me to like.

I enjoyed Payback as well, but I feel that we (your fans) deserved more in that one monumental scene at the end... but overall once again, you've left me wanting more... how long must we wait to see what's next with Mike Black and the crew?

Did I mention I read this in two days... and that's only because I was actually espected to show up at work Monday morning. You did it again Roy... now when's the next one coming?

Roy hey this book was off the hook. as your #1 fan i have to add that i love all your books, but as you know why this is my fav. i hunted for this book for a week when someone special told me i could order it. anyway Mike Black is and will always be my fav. character in the book. for those who havent read any of Roy's books. you must read but you have to start with "it it a crime". i love the way you made Vonda an all around woman. Roy i am so proud of you not that my opionion matter but i think God gave you a wonderful gift and you use it well. your showing brothers that there is more to life than just being a thug, selling drugs or just hanging out on someones corner robbing ppl. thank you for being a strong black man who is doing his thang. Wish i was there to congrat u in person and have my books signed.

Once again Roy has outdone himself!! Payback was the shhhhhh Mike Black, Nick Simmons, Shy, Freeze, Bobby, Kirk.. they're all back and better than ever. Every single time I picked up the book, I had to force myself to put it down. Like fine wine, Mr. Glenn's books get better and more intense! All hail the king!! I absolutely can't wait for the next book!

Roy Glenn...everytime I think you can't get no better you prove me wrong. Congratulations on another masterpiece. This book was definitely off the chain. Plenty of suspence, drama, sex and lies to keep you going and not want to put the book down. It's amazing how you fall in love with all the characters, even Bobby. This book will have you sitting at the edge of your seat anticipating the next move. I can't wait to read the next. This series is a blockbuster waiting to happen.

I have previously read three of Mr. Glenn's books and Payback was the icing on the cake. This book has been interesting, exciting, and puts you on the edge of your seat. I could not put it down. Mr Glenn continues the story of Mike Black, and throughout reading the book you are right there with the characters, living through their experiences. I commend Mr Glenn again for another well written book, and highly recommend it. My advice to others is to also read his other books too. I look forward to the next edition.

This book was off the chain!!! One of my co-workers got me hooked on your work and it has all been great. I started reading this book on late Saturday night and I was finished with it by Monday morning before I went to work. I could not put this book down. I love all of the characters but especially Mike Black. Are you going to do a story on Wanda so that she can tell her story? I hope so. Please don't make us wait too long before we get the next installation. Be blessed and keep writing..

I am disappointed that we have to wait and wonder about Mr. Glenn's next masterpiece....But I am very excited that he didn't let me down with his latest masterpiece. Payback is off the chain...I couldn't stop reading it until I was through...and that was around 4 a/m on a Friday morning after receiving it that Thursday night..knowing that I had to get up for work. Thanks Roy for not disappointing with Mike and Shy Black. I can't wait to hear about Wanda. If you haven't read any of Mr. Glenn's works....go out and buy them all...U will not be disappointed.

If you read the other books Its a Crime, Mob, Drug Related you are gonna love Payback. Roy Glenn has really outdone himself in all of these books. He made you feel like Black, Shy, Bobby, Freeze, Nick and Wanda were people you knew for real. I had an Idea it was Melinda cause the chick had issues. Pam should of shot Bobby's ass. Freeze was the man I loved him. I'm just waiting patiently for the next one. So go out and get these good books you will not be disappointed. At all

You must start from the 1st book and continue on. I love all his bboks.
