I heard Morning Light on a local radio station and liked it so much that I preordered Payne Avenue before it was released. I cannot stop listening to this entire album. All of the musicians are great and I love Truman's voice. It is a gem of a CD.

This CD is unbelievable. The best that I have bought in years. Where is this guy from?

I love Truman's music. This CD is truly great.

I only heard one song from this new artist but i think he has great talent and soon the world will notice his talent the first single "Girl With a Pearl" is just an awesome song i love its catchy lyrics and its emotion driven behind it not to mention the guitar riffs and the mixture of different musical intruments its truely an awesome piece of work

My wife heard Truman on the local radio and said you've got here this guy... She was right, he is so refreshing in this day and age of hip-hop and (c)rap. I can't quite put my finger on who he reminds me of, but the tunes are catchy and familiar yet wholly original. At times I here a bit of Mellencamp, Tom Petty and even Glen Phillips (of Toad the Wet Sprocket) in his voice. The only reason this is not a 5 star album in my book is the lack of lead guitar breaks, his music crys out for a few tasty jams! I hope this guy gets the attention he deserves.

This album is getting a lot of play here in Minnesota right now. He recently went out to California to play the clubs there and record this album. Hopefully it gets lots of play around the country...

Finally a cd i do not have to press skip to get to the good song every single track is just awesome on this cd.More from Truman!!!

I've listened to this CD a couple of times already and it only gets better each time. Spans the range from melodic and mellifluous to dark and brooding, the lyrics being reflective, soulful .. it's a keeper

This CD is one of my favorites. I have a six disc cd player in my car and I never take this one out. I always have to listen to one song or another, it's that good.

This album is like August and Everything After by the Counting Crows. It's incredible- every song is amazing and makes you think and feel a wide range of emotions, sometimes in the same song. The lyrics are incredible and the music is genius (simple to the ear yet so complex). It's the perfect album. The more you listen to it, the more you love it. I bought two copies so I have one in my apt and one in my car and I can't stop listening to it.
