I purchased these boots in a beautiful chestnut color for my daughter who was 10 at the time. They were not worn often, as in not every day, as there is a "no boots at all" policy at her school, and even though we reside in NE, the boots were worn mostly in the winter/colder months. Well, about 15 wearings later, one of the gorgeous rainbow zippers broke. I then began a search for replacement rainbow zipper for a repair and guess what ??? Rainbow zippers are only made overseas and a person would have to purchase about 1000 of them to even acquire one ! So now we have a boot that is still in almost new condition that cannot be worn because of a broken zipper. Maybe it's me but I expected better quality for a $140 pair of boots. Would not buy again nor recommend to anyone.

I too experienced problems with the zipper. Just a week after Christmas, the zipper pulled apart. We repaired it. Today, my daughter came home from school, and the zipper was broken once again. This time it was missing "teeth". We love Uggs, but I don't reccommend the ones that have zippers!

I love these boots because my feet are ALWAYS warm in them. Usually no matter what I am wearing, my feet are frozen, but NOT in these. The only problem I have (as other people wrote) is with the zipper. When I was about to wear them SECOND time, I had a hard time closing the zipper. I rubbed the zipper with a candle and it helped. Otherwise, great boots!! I just wish that they would make boots with a zipper for boys!

I bought these boots for my daughter. I had never purchased Uggs before and took a chance that she would like them since the cost was on the high side. My daughter loves them and they have the quality I was expecting. Would recommend them to any parent.

The zipper on the boots broke about a month after I bought them. A few years earlier a friend had bought uggs with a zipper and hers broke 3 times. She continually got them fixed but it would always break again. After seeing these I thought the zipper was more durable but considering it broke within the first month, I guess not. These boots are not worth the $130 you're about to spend on them.
