Pazzles Inspiration 12-Inch By 12-Inch Cutting Mat, 2-Pack

I've used both a Cricut cutter and the Pazzles Inspiration Electronic Cutter, and the Pazzles Inspiration wins, hands down. You don't have to buy expensive cartridges with the Inspiration, and the software is far superior.

The only drawback I've discovered so far is that the Inspiration cutting mats are slightly more expensive. I think the extra few dollars are worth paying--however, I'm tempted to purchase a Cricut mat just to see if it works in the Inspiration. Essentially they're both 12"x12" mats, coated with a sticky surface film.

When I first got my Inspiration, I set the cutting blade too deep for card stock and ended up scarring the mat, but I was still able to use it.

The Inspiration users' manual suggests using a lint roller to clean the mat, and this really works! When new, the mat is very, very sticky so you really have to know how to clean it, and also how to pry delicate cuttings away from the surface. I use an X-acto knife for the latter operation.

The product came in perfect condition and was exactly what I needed/ordered. Would definitly purchase again when I need a new one.

These mats are STICKY at first but seem to last a long while. I would encourage people to purchase these, plus good price!

I like these mats, but I think they are overpriced. Comparing them to the Cricut 12x12 mats: They are wider, so I am not sure who is truly 12x12. The stickiness on this mat is a LOT stronger than on the Cricut mats. If you don't condition these mats first you will get the following:

1. pulled off adhesive and leave areas without any glue there at all
2. tear your designs trying to take them off
3. your designs will have glue left on the back of them (annoying and not sure if conditioning the mat will help this)
