Book Description

March 1998
The PCAT is the only study guide that's truly fun to read and play--a book that tests our mastery of the really important stuff: mindless pop-culture trivia. Equally enjoyable as nostalgic memory sharpener or a New Wave party game, the "PCAT" is loaded with truly gnarly SAT-style questions that cover every major category of 80s pop culture. 5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely hilarious, May 10, 1998

I couldn't stop laughing. Anyone who was at least semi-conscious during that odd decade called "the 80's" will love this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Test Your 80's knowledge!, June 19, 2002
This review is from: Pcat: Preparation for the Pop-Culture Aptitude Test : Rad '80s Version (Paperback)
This book was a real flashback to my adolescent/young adult years. I always considered myself quite an 80's buff (hence my e-mail address), but after taking these tests, I found my knowledge was sadly lacking in many areas that I loved and thought I knew so well. This is a great book for taking a trip down memory lane.

5.0 out of 5 stars A definitive, clever look at the 80s!, March 9, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Pcat: Preparation for the Pop-Culture Aptitude Test : Rad '80s Version (Paperback)
I had the pleasure of working on this book and I can truly say it's one of the smartest and most hilariously written books that I've come across. I mean, a Steve Guttenberg logic question is nothing short of brilliant! I thought I knew a lot about the 80s but Mr. Sellers has me bested by a long shot. If you want to test your knowledge of short-lived TV shows and one-hit wonders, this is the book for you. Forget The Wedding Singer, the PCAT is the definite word on the glorious neon decade that was the 80s!
