Best Book About PCOS thus Far!!!!,
This review is from: PCOS and Your Fertility (Paperback)
I have read both this book and "PCOS Dietbook" by Coletter Harris and found that this book really helped answer many questions I have about PCOS. My husband read this book when I was done with it and now he understands exactly what PCOS is and what you can do to help your fertility. I really enjoyed this book because it talks about miscarriages in PCOS women. All of the other books I have read just mention miscarriages. This book descirbes exactly what causes miscariages in PCOS women. It really made me understand what I can do to help lower the risks of miscariage!!
THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!!

Conceived first baby after reading this!!!,

This review is from: PCOS and Your Fertility (Paperback)
I was diagnosed with PCOS while trying to conceive and this book was recommended to me by my reproductive endocrinologist. The author does a stellar job at breaking down exactly what PCOS does to your reproductive body and then gives step-by-step solutions to combat the diagnosis.
I was not an advocate of using fertility medications or IVF procedures (personal choice) so this book fit my lifestyle needs perfectly. After following the guidelines for two months (after not having an ovulatory cycle for three years) I was able to ovulate and conceive my baby boy who is now 8 months old! I highly recommend this book to any woman suffering with PCOS.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone with PCOS that is trying to conceive. It is full of great information. She doesn't just give the technical information, but talks about the emotional aspect of coping with infertility. I love all of the books that I have read by Colette Harris.

PCoS and Your Fertility,
By
This review is from: PCOS and Your Fertility (Paperback)
Sorry but I disagree with the last review. This is an area in which there have been few books to help women. My wife have found this book to be extremely informative and it has anwered some of those niggling questions that have come up in the last few months as she has been facing difficulties through PCoS. The first book was a good general read and this book has given her further infomration that she can use and that I can support her with. I didn't know anything about PCoS before. We can both work together to combat this more effectively. I have promised to try to help her with the suggested recipes and hope that with the author's help we can move forward. Thank you!

I am an RN and I could not even finish this book. I found the suggestions and advice absurd and not applicable to every day life. What bothered me the most is that the author seems against anything medical. I am not sure where or how she gets her research. I would not recommend this book.

Good information about PCOS, gives a general overview but doesn't give enough specific diet information for managing PCOS. Definitely recommend "New Glucose Revolution" for this.

Get this book if you have PCOS, even if you are not TTC it will answer every question you ever had about PCOS. It is a really great read and I suggest you get it. I also bought the Insulin Resistance Diet book, because it helps with the symptoms of PCOS.

Informative, but not so helpful,

This book was very informative to me, but I think the research is a little old. While it helped me learn more about the disorder, the programs it suggested didn't help regulate me.

This book was a good read for me. It gave me ideas of what to do in order to increase my fertility. Lucky for me, I didn't have to follow the book fully as I got pregnant a month after purchasing it. I will read it again prior to trying for number two.
