4.0 out of 5 stars Hop on board the Peace Machine, May 28, 2007
This review is from: Peace Machine (Audio CD)
You're probably thinking "Oh great - another guy playing a worn Stratocaster thinking he is Stevie Ray Vaughn". Wrong. What drew me to this CD was that the songs were fresh and fun and had no trace of the cliches that can make this music boring - and the playing and musicianship is outstanding.

SAYCE may be one of the greatest new players waiting to be discovered. His playing is stupendous and rivals the very best ( BONAMASSA / GALES etc. ) of the young guns. JOE ROMAGNOLA from GROOVEYARD ( the producer of this cd ) stated that the guitar parts were recorded LIVE in the studio. Almost unbelievable considering the complexity of his playing and the tightness of the arrangements. However....., the songs are nothing more than vehicles for the guitar virtuosity and are juvenile at best. Lyrics......., best not go there either. After saying all that, it is still a must have for any guitar fan that likes to collect the greatest of the new players. This guy should figure largely in the future of guitar musik

5.0 out of 5 stars Great blues rock CD by Philip Sayce, June 22, 2008
This review is from: Peace Machine (Audio CD)
Philip Sayce is one of my favorite guitar players. He has an unique guitar playing style with traditional influences from Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and so on. This CD shows what he is capable of in terms of guitar playings and song writtings. I like his guitar tones, arrangements of songs, singing techniques and so on from the CD. Even though, the price is high for a CD, I highly recommand this CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Water Your Garden, February 17, 2008
This review is from: Peace Machine (Audio CD)
When you see a musician blossom like the biggest garden, but know that garden has so much room to grow ... you for sure know Philip Sayce is the seed on this album. He continues to SHINE on that garden that is PHILIP SAYCE. Watch him live and FEEL what I mean.

Gratitude-Peace-Love
