Format: Paperback
This book speaks to the core issue of our time--that global peace begins in the heart and mind of each one of us. Here are moving quotations from thinkers all over the world, put together in a beautiful book that can personally remind us to walk in peace every day of the year. What could be more important in a time of global unrest and financial disruption? Ruth Fishel has written many wonderful meditation books, but this is by far the most important and timely.

Format: Paperback
Whether you read this book from front to back as a novel, or each day as a spiritual practice (as the author intends), its concepts will deepen your thoughts and desires for providing peace in the world. In today's challenging world, "peace" seems elusive and shoved into a corner by the media's glare of doom and gloom. This book provides a refreshing change from the negative as it provides, and actually encourages, personal instruction to make a difference. Imagine the possibilities if a mass of people, reading the thoughts each day from this book, join in collective thought toward changing the world! Buy it for yourself and everyone on your gift list. Make this the year to make Peace on Earth a reality!

Format: Paperback
To begin each day spending a few moments with some of the great thinkers and writers of our time and of all time...thank you, Ruth Fishel. For gathering together such an inspirational collection of thoughts that can lead us to personal and, possibly, global peace, thank you. From Elizabeth Barrett Browning to the Buddha, and from Thoreau to Mother Teresa--to say nothing of the countless nameless contributors--what a great way to start the day--or conclude it, if that's when you prefer to spend some quiet time.
--Thanks and peace.

This may be Ruth Fishel's best book yet. I read it at night before going to bed and it helps to center me and chase away any turmoil remaining in my mind from the day just past. Each year I choose a meaningful book to give to friends and family and "Peace" is this year's selection.

This book helps me to be the change I wish to see in the world. It challenges me to stop blaming people places and things. It challenges me to look in the mirror and be the peace that I wish to see in the world. It teaches me compassion for myself, which enables to be more compassionate with others. Would recommend for students, teachers, those who lead retreats, professionals, non professionals ... anyone who is working on becoming more human or not. Great book.
