Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?,
By Bjorn Viberg (European Union) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Peace Sells But Who S Buying (Audio CD)
Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? being the second studio album of Megadeath and their 1986 release showcases thrash metal at its finest with heavy guitar riffs, alright lyrics and plenty of emotions. All the lyrics are included in the booklet and a list of whom plays what including brand of the instruments played. Allmusic, Blender and Sputnikmusic all gave it high marks in their reviews. 4/5.

the beast is out and on the rise,

this is probibly the best cd megadeth ever did!solid, heavy, impressive and the band was together (stoned but on the same page)this cd set the stage for megadeth to take the fight to dave's ex-band mates and take on the thrash world.the guitar work of mustine/poland could have tought kirk a thing or two in the fiture If they could have keep it together.dave and chris were fabulous the feed off each other and had a distinct style(refreshing)Gar was a excellent drummer and dave Jr was strong and decisive in his playing.the whole cd is high points no filler the fury ran wild but with boundries in the music.this cd is one of my favorites to this day of course megadeth after rust in pieces went to hell soon afterbut countdown was solid but not brutal thrash.this is one of the few cds of their's to definitly buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not there best... but still great!,
This review is from: Peace Sells But Who S Buying (Audio CD)
This second album of Megadeth is not there best work... but still a grat album. A lot of Megadeth classic is in it (Peace Sells, Wake Up Dead, Devil's Island...). This is the last album of Chris Poland and Gar Samuelson... The only negative point in this album is that it is too short... Only 36.18minStill a classic
