Editorial Reviews

From Library Journal

Cole Alexander's search for the international renegade who murdered his family forms the core of this fast-paced chronicle of a very special group of elite soldiers. Satellite warfare, guerrilla action and undercover operations highlight this action-packed adventure by the author of The Kinsman Saga . Recommended where military sf is popular. JC

From AudioFile

Well-known science fiction author Bova had the misfortune of publishing this just before the fall of the Soviet Union, so the Soviets persist in his near-future vision of an emerging world police force engaged in preventing wars. There is a gripping sequence aboard a space station, with much action on the ground, as well. Theodore Bikel brings a profound authority to his reading. His sonorous bass voice does not admit contradiction: One dares not disbelieve the narrative. He is a master of accents and here uses his talent to its fullest effect. D.W. 5.0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable novel describing a very possible future..., August 23, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Peacekeepers (Mass Market Paperback)
This was a book I just happened to look at because it had a cool cover and decent premise, so I decided to give it a shot. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by how entertaining and how fast-paced it was - the kind of book you can read in one sitting. In addition, the book has a good, surprising ending - I don't want to spoil it for you. Peackeepers is the kind of book that should be made into a movie - although maybe they should wait a while because, on the surface, the plot seems similar to the movie The Peacemaker with George Clooney and Nicole Kidman (although the Peacekeepers is a much better story, trust me). Either way, even though this isn't Bova' most popular book, it's worth checking out.
