5.0 out of 5 stars Not Just for Men!
This book will keep you on the edge of your seat from first page til last. If you are a patriot, a romatic at heart, a lover of adventure and action; then this is the book for you. The characters and the contents in general were well researched. I have read all of the author's fictional work and believe this is the best of the lot. Be sure to place a box of tissues...

3.0 out of 5 stars Review
Overall, enjoy the story and the development throughout the novels. What bothers me is punctuation. The use of quotation marks for half the quote, and the lack of commas makes the reading jumpy at times. That being said, I look forward to the next novel and in seeing how this vision of America and the world develops.

Good old military sci-fi. I found this series a couple of months ago and picked them all up for my kindle. Great reads for the price at that time. Story line keeps building and more factors come into play with the larger the Peacekeepers group becomes. There is a lot of emotional up and downs throughout the book but a good read for anyone while waiting for other series books to come out. With seven in this series so far it can take up some of your free time.

I am going to help the Beginners out on this one. You can get the first one for ANYWHERE from zero to 99cents. or Save even bigger dough and buy them in groups of threes1-3 4-6 7-9 get those groups and save big.

Hey if you even half way think you like the sample. Then fork out the bucks and save. So many have that it seems to be the only way to fly. Unless you have a Peacekeeper car. I want one I want one Heck I just want a stack of metal and I will build my own magic flying carpet ride.

Ricky has to have been born and raised in the south. That is why we have a hero with the name of Jim Bob. No his name is not Jim Bob. It is just JIM.

Still it give you a pause.

On a personal basis I loved each and every one of the books in this 9 part series the action was always on the beat and the typos or mistakes were very minimal Yes I did find a few things like reading about the mans piers instead of the mans peers meaning his contemporaries. Still that does not take away from the whole experience of the reading of these great group of books. I loved them loved them loved them. It takes you from the days leading up to the Apocalypses and then to the years trying to bring about a recovery. There are starts and stops and false starts and stops Let us hope that it could be such a great help from technology.

All in all you miss this series and you loose a great read and some thought provoking ideas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Argh! Pirates with some serious firepower!, May 3, 2011
This review is from: The Peacekeepers. Oh Say Can You See... Book 7. (Kindle Edition)
Argh! Pirates! This time with something like 5,000 ships and a secret weapon -- EMP guns that can knock out all of the systems on the peacekeepers' ships. But not to be outdone, the peacekeepers come up with a new attack method of their own, allowing them to sink naval vessels without shot!

In this 7th installment of the Peacekeeper saga, pirates launch a two-prong attack on the U.S. with military ships they have hijacked. One prong is aimed at the Gulf of Mexico and our oil supplies, and the other at Washington D.C. with the intent of looting all of our national treasures.

We get lots of good action and suspense as the peacekeepers mount a last ditch stand at the U.S. capital. I rate this installment as about a 4.5 stars, but bumped it up to a 5 for a few reasons. The writing is even better than previous novels and the author is brave enough to kill off another major character. In addition, the suspense is even better as this enemy has enough serious firepower to possibly deliver a knockout blow to the peacekeepers.

You'll definitely enjoy this lastest novel by Ricky Sides.
