Editorial Reviews

Review

I highly recommend Peacemaking to any lawyer or law student who seeks to better understand human conflict. -- Janine Geske, Professor of Law Marquette University Law School

Most ... provocative are principles of peacemaking ... which could transform ... legal structures and approaches, [and] social, political, and economic systems .... -- John Paul Lederach, Professor of Peacebuilding, University of Notre Dame

Whether you are a peace-seeker, a peacemaker or a lawyer ..., this book will broaden your perspective in important ways. -- Lela P. Love, Professor of Law, Benjamin Cardozo School of Law

From the Author

This project began with two related questions. The first question was one I posed to myself. I asked, "What material would I need and want to teach law students and lawyers how to become peacemakers?" The second question was posed to me by a numberof lawyers and judges attending my mediation training courses: "What do you recommend for further reading on all of this?" This book answers those questions.
