Book Description

Peach Fuzz
Peach continues to wreak havoc trying to escape, and Mimi suggests that maybe Peach is just in need of a playmate. So Amanda and her mom buy her a friend--Prince Edwin! But Prince Edwin is not what Peach expected. Clumsy, ill-mannered, and a little crazy, he hardly lives up to his stately moniker. Will the two be able to forge a friendship, or will they kill each other first?

This book is a SNAG for reluctant and hi/low readers. I bought the 1st in the series, then my students were begging for the next 2. They love 'em!

4.0 out of 5 stars wide appeal and that rare child appropriate manga, February 25, 2008

This review is from: Peach Fuzz Volume 3 (v. 3) (Paperback)
I bought Peach Fuzz 1 after studying reviews. My 9 year old daughter loves to read and manga is something she enjoys. It is hard to find books like this that are age appropriate. Anyways she loved the story so we bought the next two volumes and she read them in a day apiece. Her twin brother was so curious about her excitement that he read them to - even though the books look "girlie". He thought they were an excellent read too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best of the three, July 16, 2009

I first discovered Peach Fuzz in a thrift store (I love digging around in those stores, its like a huge garage sale with plenty of hidden goodies to discover). And being the avid manga reader and still a kid at heart at age 20, when I stumbled upon the curious cover of volume 1, I couldn't help but glance through some of the pages. I was hood then and there. I was a ferret owner and the authors captured all of the nuances of ferrets perfectly in an original way.

I do have to say that volume three was not that enjoyable to me. Volumes 1 and 2 had such a lighthearted mood, while this one was laden with things that I just didn't like. If some of the parts unnerved me, it's sure to unnerve younger readers. But it could just be me.

If you liked the first two volumes, then read on to see what becomes of Peach!
