New Love, Old Problems Part 4, April 14, 2006
This review is from: Peach Girl: Change of Heart, Book 4 (Paperback)
Kiley has done the unexpected, he has broken up with Momo because of his love for his former tutor, nurse Misao. Momo is heartbroken but refuses to take this news lying down. After an incident at the pool brings Toji back into her life it also brings her closer to Kiley once she saves his life from drowning. In the aftermath of this near fatal experience Kiley finally explains the past between him and Misao and why exactly she is so important to him. This is the same time that he and Momo's path first crossed, that is this was when she first saved his life from drowning. He tells her he can't commit to her while he still feels so strongly for another but she is willing to try to make him love her, even when Toji expresses that he wants to get back with her (after Sae has conveniently broken up with him for Ryo).
Momo confronts Kiley and tells him she wants him no matter what, and all seems to be going swimmingly until a nude photo of Sae surfaces and all hell breaks loose...again.
Will Kiley and Momo be ok? Won't Sae ever learn, and what's with Toji suddenly getting back to Momo like nothing ill happened between them? Hmmm, well I know I can't wait to find out, and will be heading off to get the next volume in this great series. I can't believe it's still this good after this long, but it is, and I think every manga fan should check it out at least once. It's worth it.

Fluffy pleasure combined with surprising tug at heart, November 9, 2003
This review is from: Peach Girl: Change of Heart, Book 4 (Paperback)
Our heroine, Momo, get more heartaches in this installment. Kiley confesses that he has loved school nurse Misao since she was a tutor to him when he was in middle school. He also loves Momo but he just can't let go of his feeling for Misao. This make it sounds like Kiley is a jerk but the book gives a sympathetic portrayal of young, insecure Kiley in his junior days. We also finally learn what truly happened on the day Momo and Kiley first met (when Momo saved him from drowning). Misao was not just his first love, but probably first true friend. This revealation devastates Momo. After her traumatic relationship with Toji, you would think Momo would have gotten a break with dependable, reliable Kiley. But Kiley only ends up hurting her at the end too. Understandably, Momo falls into a deep depression. Toji learns of Momo's heartbreak. He came to Momo and tells that he wants to get back together. What choice would Momo make? She makes her choice. Personally, I don't think it's the right choice. But our Momo boldy goes on. There is also a bit about Sae possibly in prostitution. I don't know why anyone would be surprised. I hope Momo and the gang learned their lesson and leave Sae alone. Yet another ending alluding to more twists... Can't wait for Peach Girl Change of Heart 5

Great Artwork and storyline!, October 31, 2003

I loved Peach Girl and now Peach Girl Change of Heart books!! The story is not as good as Peach Girl books volumes 1 to 8 but it still has great characters and great stories. It's a good read! I read alot of mangas and this author is one of my favorites because of her drawings. Clean and simple whereas other mangas' drawings are kinda sloppy and often overlaps with each other. If you appreciate art and a good story, get this series.
