5.0 out of 5 stars The Art of Filth
I was introduced to Peaches by a friend right after Teaches of Peaches came out. I immediately fell in love! She creates her art with force that feeds your brain with euphoria and makes you realize that she will not be stifled lyrically and you appreciate her as a musician, writer and creator while she gives the empowerment of women a whole new meaning. 3.0 out of 5 stars Peaches doesn't give a F#$%, and quite frankly, neither do I
This is a pretty cool album if you have a good sense of humor. Peaches uses a lot of profanity and has attitude to spare. What she doesn't have is any real lyrical talent. If for instance a song is called "Shake Your Dix"(track 7), then prepare to hear the title yelled or chanted for 4 minutes or so.If you read the song titles on the back, then you know what the lyrics...

Fatherfu*#er is quite different than her debut. It rocks out more, she has some awesome guest musicians and she uses her platform in a different way this time. Still, she remains true to her power vulgarity and in-your-face rhymes that are amazing. The first time I listened to the album, I was shocked that she could once again create something just as good as Teaches, if not better. She's like a white Lil' Kim mixed with a little chicks on speed. This album also contains 3 videos where she shows you what she means when she performs. I love this album and I cannot wait to see her in concert if she tours soon. Buy this album and listen intently and open-mindedly. You will catch on to her ideals in this one a bit more than in Teaches. This woman is amazing and completely underrated in my opinion!

5.0 out of 5 stars Non-stop fun!, February 9, 2006

If you are up for a little fun and swearing, Peaches is the way to go. I love mixing a little Peaches into mix cds and people inevitably want to know who it is that is playing.

This is really great music if you have excess energy to burn. Whenever I am feeling angry, I play "I don't give a ****" and bounce around.

Some other reviewers have called Peaches juvenille and crude...well it is, but that is the joy of it. Kind of like South Park and Family Guy. This isn't music for being serious, this is music for the dirty little b**** that lives inside of all of us. Rock on Peaches!

5.0 out of 5 stars A definite purchase, May 2, 2004

You know what, forget all of these people who wrote long boring reviews of Peaches....If you are into Electro or anything funky and non-mainstream like that, and you can handle a dirty girl then this is for you! Peaches is the baddest, wildest, sexiest beeyatch out there......get this cd! If you can see her in concert, even better! She rocks! All of her songs have a groovy beat and her lyrics are great. If you are a serious bore you won't like this.....for all others this will be one you will listen to over and over!

Go listen to Kelly Clarkson if you don't want to have some fun...shake yer dicks man!!! At least she's got balls to be herself and not let the man (or woman) tell her what to do...Peaches ROCKS! 5.0 out of 5 stars Punk all the way, May 16, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Peaches - Fatherfucker (Audio CD)
See her live. She will change your mind. Shes all and is pure punk. No rules, does what she wants and it works. Love seeing a woman "own" a stage like that. Love her voice and her stage presence. If you've come to her to be taken so seriously musically in a snobby way. You goons need to take a page from Iggy Pop, Jello Biafra, Fat Mike, 400 Blows, and any "real" punk band.

She's the new punk Madonna but with a set of balls.

4.0 out of 5 stars GREAT album, January 31, 2009
This review is from: Peaches - Fatherfucker (Audio CD)
Peaches puts together a great mix of songs that seem to blend both rock and techno. Her big draw seems to be her off the wall lyrics but once you listen to the music itself you start to realize just how talented she actually is. Great album, highly recommend it.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Peaches - Fatherfucker (Audio CD)
Before I purchased this, I only had one clue as to who Peaches was...I saw her on an episode of The L Word. After that I was hooked on her music.
I especially went after this CD because of the song "I U She". That song is the bomb! It'll get stuck in your head for sure. So I bought this based on me liking that one song because I heard it before, and I was surprised at how many MORE songs on the CD were just as awesome.

This CD is enhanced, so on your computer you'll be able to see a few very indie looking videos starring Peaches. One is footage from a live concert.
If you're into techno, electronica, rock then you'll love this!

4.0 out of 5 stars A sexual revolutionary, April 12, 2004
By

(VINE VOICE)    (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Peaches - Fatherfucker (Audio CD)
Peaches is not a woman who is trying to be sexy in the coy, titillating way that, say, (...). Peaches is a vulgar, riotous sexual revolutionary, shoving her crotch in the face of puritans everywhere.

And thank God.

Where Peaches' first CD, "The Teaches of Peaches", was crass and minimalist, "Fatherf*cker" is a much more diverse and ambitious project. The CD starts out with the track "I Don't Give a ...", which isn't so much a song as it is Peaches wailing "I don't give a f*ck, I don't give a sh*t" over a Joan Jett sample. It's totally immature, but I can't deny that every time I hear it it puts a smile on my face. "I U She" confronts sexual labels with the mantra "I don't have to make a choice, I like girls and I like boys." "Kick It" features Peaches trading raunchy banter with punk icon Iggy Pop. It includes such hilariously choice lines as "Some people don't like my crotch/cuz it's got fuzzy fotch". My favorite track "Stuff Me Up" actually manages to be not just vulgar, but legitimately sexy. And "Back It Up Boys", the most out-there track, sings the praises of women strapping on toys and penetrating their men. What is this woman going to come up with next?

4.0 out of 5 stars Old peaches sounded better, October 5, 2003
By
Pyromechanica (Toronto, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Peaches - Fatherfucker (Audio CD)
Great cd, same rude trash talking, rap rocking, she-girl, but in my opinion she took a small turn from the electronics and veered into the rock scene. I liked the old peaches where the songs were nice and fuzzy, not blaring riot gurl music (kick it for example). The feats are a nice touch and shows that other artists are willing to support her "don't give a damn" reputation. Great cd overall, and still retains the downright dirty references that makes you think twice about blasting this in your car with your brother's friends.

I love this album and tell everybody I come across to check it out. It's full of energy and humor and there's nothing better than blasting it in your car, preferrably if you have a parent with you.
