Editorial Review
Peacocks are pretty, but peacocks as pictures on jigsaw puzzles are difficult--and peacocks on both sides of a jigsaw puzzle are downright diabolical. This 513-piece puzzle assembles to form a 15-by-15-inch picture of a peacock--on both the front and the back of the puzzle. You not only have to determine which of the 50 or more feathers a particular wispy green bit belongs to, but whether it belongs to the right side up image on one side or the upside down image on the other. Don't think you can cheat by examining the individual pieces for the tell-tale curve that indicates the entry of the cutting blade: the devious makers cut the horizontal locks from one side and the vertical locks from the other. This is a jigsaw puzzle for dedicated masochists with plenty of time on their hands.
