About the Author

J. Donald Walters (Swami Kriyananda) is an internationally known author and composer, widely considered one of the world's foremost experts on yoga, meditation, and spiritual practice. He is the author of more than 80 books that have sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide and which have been translated into 24 languages. An American born in Rumania and educated in England, Switzerland, and America, Walters studied at Haverford College and Brown University. He speaks nine languages and has lectured in five of them.
