Seems nice enough and the DC recharger works fine. Haven't had it on long, so I'm not sure how long the battery will last. Didn't need a recharge until I got home when I used it for 9 days over deer hunting season. I don't believe it should be rated at 2.5 million candle power though. Spotlights I used in the past for deer shining that were rated less where actually as bright or brighter. Especially the 1 million candle power unit I used many years ago.

I have purchased several spotlights that haven't been quite bright enough or didn't hold a charge, but I was very satisfied with this purchase. This spotlight held a charge for a reasonable amount of time with moderate nightly use. Great for coyote spotting or just checking out the area. One great feature of this light is the fact that any single, open ended extension cord can be used to recharge the battery. There is also a DC car charger. Great product and very satisfied with my purchase.

It takes forever to charge and you can't use it while its charging. It would be nice if you could use it while it is charging at least 12 volt. And it is kind of old school as far as the bulb is concerned because it has a dark spot in the middle of the light.

I use this spotlight as a volunteer for the red cross disaster action team. The throw on the spotlight allows us to light up addresses from the van. The throw also allows us to see streetlights far enough in advance. There isn't much lighting in Detroit streets, so this light comes in handy finding houses. Especially after a house fire, there is usually no lights in the house. This allows us to do an assessment on the house with no problems!

Very bright and a wonderful idea not to need a charger, any extension chord will work to charge. The only con is it does not hold a charge for long.

Spotlight is awesome..very bright...my son uses to find houses when delivering pizzas at night.Another plus..charges with a regular extension cord! Was so happy with the first one that I ordered a second one for my wife to find what she's going to wear that's in her closet.

My brother-in-law has owned one of these for years. We both have 3+ acre lots and the light shines from end to end...over 100 yards.

It's a bit heavy, so not something that youngsters or some folks would want to carry around.

The built in charger is a plus as is the smaller LED light under the main beam.

Charging is easy. One note: the instructions are silent on whether the charging LED goes out when the battery is completely charge...however, mine did not go out even after 14 hours of charging...which is the limit suggested by the manufacturer.

It would be nice if it went out to indicate a full charge

I work the overnight shift spotting trailers at a chemical plant. The lighting is minimal in the drop lots and it is difficult to read the trailer numbers in the available light. This spotlight truly lights up the night. It has more than enough light to brighten the darkest corners. Absolutely worth the price.
