5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!, May 24, 2005
This review is from: The Peanut Allergy Handbook: A Guide for Parents (Paperback)
I received a copy of this book to read from my mom. She read a review about "The Peanut Allergy Handbook" in an allergy magazine here in the US - the review was great so she ordered the book. My neice has a severe nut allergy and I thought I was taking pretty good care of her whenever I looked after her. After reading this book - I now take a lot better care of her and she is SO much safer. All I can say is... this book is a life saver!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone Needs THIS Book, July 23, 2004
This review is from: The Peanut Allergy Handbook: A Guide for Parents (Paperback)
My son is nut allergic and I have struggled daily since he was diagnosed. This book was so informative and helpful when it came to me needing to leave him anywhere but with me.

I love how it can be personalized for him and that it included a space for his picture and pages where I could make notes about his own allergy.

I wish I could give this book a six out of five. Seriously, everyone needs one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Now I Get It!, July 28, 2004
This review is from: The Peanut Allergy Handbook: A Guide for Parents (Paperback)
As the aunt of a nut allergic child - I had really never understood the problem. My own children don't have this allergy so I just didn't get it. My sister has a copy of this handbook and MADE me read it.

Now I get it. I recommend this book to anyone who ever has or will have to care for a nut allergic child. I know that the bright yellow page with the instructions for how to use an epipen as well as all the personalized information will be very comforting whenever I have her kids.
