Peanut butter Planet serves it all from Soup to Nuts,

This review is from: Peanut Butter Planet: Around the World in 80 Recipes, from Starters to Main Dishes to Desserts (Paperback)
I discovered Robin Robertson's "Peanut butter planet" while I was hunting for cook books at my local Barnes and Nobel. As a self-proclaimed peanut butter lover and vegetarian (Robertson is a vegan herself as are all 80 receipes with optional variations to add meat), I felt as though this book had been written with me in mind. Robertson's chatty style, her easy-to-follow directions, and delicious varied receipes make this book a must have for anyone who can not bear to have the roof of their mouth be anything but sticky.

Truly deserves 5 stars,
This review is from: Peanut Butter Planet: Around the World in 80 Recipes, from Starters to Main Dishes to Desserts (Paperback)
First and only review ever written... because every recipe is delicious, fabulous, marvelous... and good for you, too. Simple. Very highly recommended. I have several friends who feel the same way. Thanks.

More Then Just PB&J,

Not that PB&J isn't great in it's own right, but this book has so many uses for peanut butter then I would've ever thought possible. I have actually had this cookbook in my collection for a long time, before I was vegan, and never realized that it was the same author as so many of the vegan cookbooks in my collection. All the recipes in this book are vegetarian, but they do offer ideas on how to include meat in the recipes if you so desire, though the flavors of the dishes are so complex on their own, I really don't think meat would add anything to them. Lots of great recipes for soup and savory dishes are included, as well as an extensive dessert chapter. Personally I really love the comforting and hearty eggplant and peanut butter stew, which I'm sure sounds like an odd combination, but it does taste really delicious.
