The uncelebrated king of rock 'n' roll. This album is just as good as the first one released by Norton, 'Out to Hunch'. Collectors, do not hesitate.

Probably the second best Hasil release on CD, next to out to hunch. There are 20 excellent tracks, recorded from 1956-63, two of them unissued in the states, and two previously unissued at all. His take on "The Banana Boat Song" and Blue Suede Shoes" are both great, The title track rocks big time and "Chicken Twist" sounds mysteriously like "The Chicken Walk", hmmm...... The liner notes are pretty good as well, with some rare photos.
A truly timeless collection from the Haze, you WON'T be sorry with this one. Hasil RIP |
