Both my sons play chess and saw this set at a tournament. We waited until we got home to order it from Amazon for much less than the tournament price. The pieces are very durable and are made in one piece so they will not fall apart like other sets such as the soccer set. My boys are 5 and 7 so they use the pieces to play with even when they aren't playing chess.

Peanuts Chess Game is a great way to introduce chess to your little ones.This toy is great for adults as well. The characters are colorful and make chess an interesting & fun way to play and learn.
