K-Gr 4–Back in the day, it wasn't Christmas until “A Charlie Brown Christmas” was shown on TV. This pop-up adaptation follows the original pretty faithfully. The illustrations are fine, and the pop-up and movable elements are simple. Still, it somehow lacks the charm of the television production–possibly because it doesn't include the voices of the child actors who embodied each character so perfectly. While it's sturdier in construction than many of the elaborate pop-up titles that have been released in recent years, it's still too fragile for repeated usage.
