My wife and I have become big collectors of the various Christmas toys that have come out in recent years based upon the classic holiday specials such as Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer and Charlie Brown. This is another one that we added to our collection and that will be put up along with the rest every Christmas season when we decorate.
This figure is, of course, from "A Charlie Brown Christmas". It is Lucy Van Pelt manning her psychiatric help booth and ready to give her advice to Charlie Brown who is feeling depressed about Christmas. It is Lucy who will tell him that he needs to get involved and tells him he should direct the Peanuts' Christmas play at the school. The booth and Lucy is faithful in its detail to the show with the snow covered booth, the Doctor is "Real In" sign, and Lucy's coin can. Goes great with the other figures from this series. Just a great display item. |
