I bought the ruger lcp awhile back and I love the gun, the only problem was it is so small I couldn't get a good grip on it, I bought it to conceal so I needed to figure out something to do. So I got on amazon and came across this product and its like holding a new gun. Before I could only get my middle finger on the grip(this is while having the ruger extension on) and now I can get both ring and middle finger, and the grip,"at least on my hand" stops just after my ring finger so my pinky rests snug underneath, It makes it feel like the grip was customized for my hand. So for people with larger hands I highly recommend this product. Also it extended it enough for my wife with smaller hands to get her whole hand on there, so she likes it also, gives her a lot more control. Great Product, and its a two pack.

Customer NOTE: This item, as pictured in Amazon description PEARCE GRIP EXT FOR XDS, is WRONG! Due to this misinformation, this item was purchased directly from the manufacturer. Please see additional photos for accurate pictures!

The Pearce Grip Extension for the Springfield Amory 45 Caliper XDs 5-round magazine is an excellent enhancement. I was able to put this extension on within sixty seconds after receiving the item from the manufacturer. It does not impair this pistol's superb concealability factor.

NOTE: This is a simple grip extension for the pinky finger - It is NOT a magazine extension. There are seven round magazines for the XDs manufactured by Springfield Armory - But I do not recommend conceal carry using the seven round mag. If carrying concealed, it is best to have the seven round mag as a backup (see pictures).

Addendum NOTES:
16 June 2013 - Amazon corrected product picture to match the Pearce uploaded customer image.

26 July 2013 - Amazon removed customer photos of actual product and reverted to original pre-16 June incorrect product picture. Visit "pearcegrip" DOT com, under "Products", "Springfield Armory", "PG-XDS" for an accurate product depiction.

I installed this on my Springfield XD40 Subcompact. Anyone who has ever shot this gun with the 9 round mag knows that there is a definite snappy muzzle flip, which is to be expected with most small handguns of this caliber. It is not as much of an issue with the extended 12 rd mag.

This Pearce extension makes the gun more controllable with the smaller mag, while still maintaining good concealability. Installation is a snap and can literally be done in under 30 seconds. All I used was a small flat screwdriver on my multitool to press in the button on the bottom of the mag. The original plate slides off and the new one slides on in its place. Just make sure to keep your thumb over the hole so that the mag spring doesn't shoot out.

I purchased this item for my M&P Shield .40 and it has really enhanced the my ability to manage the recoil, stabilize and added support the gun. Adding the magazine extension to 7 round magazine was a great asset to firing the gun with giving my pinky a place to rest. I plan to use the shield as my off duty carry and the extension does not interfere with concealment at all.

Grip extension fits perfectly for both the 7 and 8 round mags for both .40 and 9mm. Easily installed in seconds. Handgrip ideal and improved over standard. The grip with the 8 round mag really extends out quite nicely without a great deal of imprint.

Highly Recommended.

Worked just as advertised for my XDS 9mm. It allows you to have your entire hand on the gun without the extra printing as the extended magazine would do.

I too have "C" model numbers, and mine fit like a glove. I have two TCP .380's, and a total of 4 magazines. I ordered 4 of these pinky extensions, and have installed all of them. I have tried each of the magazines in both weapons, and don't have the issue with the magazine not locking in place as the other reviewer reported. I've watched youtube videos of the issue, and researched it heavily before ordering. I was expecting to have to sand them down lightly to fit, but no need as they worked fine the first time. Also, on the Pearce Grip website, there was no indication of fit issues, so perhaps they have resolved the issue and mine came from a new batch.

The Pearce extensions for the LCP are great. They are a little bigger than the ones that came on my Ruger factory mags. This little bit makes it much easier to get at least two full fingers on the grip, which in turn leads to better control of the gun. The added ability to control the weapon during firing is well worth it,especially considering the small caliber of the LCP, when every shot counts.
Some people worry about them making the gun harder to conceal, but the amount added to the size of the weapon is negligible. Still able to completly hide it in the back pocket of my jeans in an Uncle Mikes pocket holster.

Hopefully the product description will get update, but that's what I get for reflex shopping. ;)
This Pearce Grip is for the Springfield Armory XDM 9mm or 40 cal model only.

Looked to be a nice accessory but since I own a .45 cal the grip is too narrow to fit.

First off I have to say until I bought these for my Glock 19 magazines I had no idea how difficult it really was to remove the floor plate on the magazine. I Youtube'd an easier way to remove the floor plate and I was able to get each off in seconds with just a flat head screwdriver.

Now for the product review; I must say this is as stout as the factory piece it replaces. It fits absolutely perfect and adds much needed grip surface to those of us who like the mid-sized or compact Glocks with the shortened barrels. The grip is much more natural and all my fingers have a comfy place to rest as I securely hold and aim my weapon.

I would highly recommend this item for your model even if you have a full size Glock if only just for the way it creates an aggressive look to the weapon profile.
