Product Description

For those of us who don't necessarily have a climber's physique, or who just prefer a roomier fit for our jerseys, Pearl Izumi has designed the Attack Short Sleeve Jersey. You'll still get the fantastic performance Select Transfer fabric but have a little more room for your winter belly, if needed. Dressed in the aptly-named Attack, you can tackle the road with renewed vigor, regardless of whether it is your first ride after a long winter layoff or simply a follow-up ride to last Sunday's century. Pearl Izumi's Select Transfer fabric has earned a reputation of setting the standard for moisture management fabrics, largely because it is the foundation for all the moisture-management fabrics used in much more expensive Pearl Izumi jerseys. So you can feel confident that you are getting great technology at a much lower price point, which your missus may appreciate almost as much as the odor protection the fabric also includes. The Attack's simple, straightforward cut means that there aren't useless features that add to the cost, just essential elements that make it a great-fitting, handsome, utilitarian jersey. Easy all-out ventilation has been made possible by the full length zipper that moves like a silky dream, no fumbling with reluctant zips needed. Three back pockets give you places to stuff your whole repair kit, wallet, gel packs and CO2 cartridges. An elasticized gripper on the back keeps the jersey in place, while the usual well-placed Pearl Izumi reflective elements will keep you visible in the dusky hours. The Pearl Izumi Attack Short Sleeve Jersey is available in a myriad of colorways; including Black/black, Black/white, Black/yellow, Green Flash/black, Screaming Yellow/black, True Blue, True Red/black, or White/black. It is available in Men's sizes Small through XX-Large.

This jersey is great, I have no complaints. I am 200 5'11 and ordered the Large and it fits great, moves perfectly with my torso while I ride and would definitely buy another jersey like this

I am extremely happy I found Pearl Izumi's Attack line of jerseys. As a cyclist who's using cycling to lose weight (down 65 pounds so far from 335) it was tough to find jerseys that fit right and would cover my belly. Most jerseys are made for 150 lbs. Italian cyclists (good for them) but I was sick of just wearing t-shirts because I wanted the benefit of having the rear pouches and a longer-in-the-back cut for when I'm riding my road bike and bent over.
I'm also pretty muscular in the arms, and the sleeves on a lot of jerseys were way too tight.
The Attack line gives you all the benefits of a jersey with a fit that's about a halfway point between a jersey and a t-shirt. It's also nice to be able to unzip a bit for ventilation. The material wicks very well, and the reflective piping makes me feel safer while riding in less than bright conditions. I've gotten two so far and will probably get another in case the Attack line isn't made forever.

After having tried several jerseys at the local sporting goods store, I finally decided on this Pearl Izumi Attack jersey based on its fit and overall comfort. Of course, ordered it here coz it was cheaper than at the store. Quick thoughts:

1. Fit - I am 5.9", 162 lbs, 31 waist. Medium fits well. Doesn't cling to the skin to look weird, but not loose to flap around either. Just the right fit for me.

2. Comfort - The jersey holds up well for rides of say 20-30 miles (I haven't done more than that so far with this jersey). The material doesn't get heavy from sweat. The full zipper is a great thing to have coz it makes it much easier to remove the jersey after.

3. Use - the pockets are convenient and don't sag with the usual items that I put in - cereal bar, cellphone, some cash. The back doesn't roll up either when I'm riding bent downward.

4. Zipper - I am not a fan of the small size zippers they use for cycling jerseys coz I feel they go bad very often. I get that feeling every time I zip or unzip this jersey, but fortunately the zipper has held up well so far, 3 months into use every weekend. Hopefully it will continue to function well.

Overall given the material, fit, utility, and comfort of this jersey, I highly recommend this jersey. I hope they made the same jersey in the same price range with larger brighter prints. Pearl Izumi's jerseys with larger prints are ridiculously priced (around $200 a piece). I personally would feel safer wearing the printed jerseys when riding, but the brighter colors in this style (red, yellow) aren't bad either.

The sizing on this runs small. I wear a large in Izod, Tommy Bahama, Jockey, etc.
This was skin tight and not the advertised loose cut. I'm 5'11" and 180 lb. and
mildly muscular but I don't intimidate King Kong. If you want a loose fit you
may need to get one size larger. Otherwise seemed like a very nice jersey. I'm
returning the L and ordering an XL (exchange wasn't available for unknown reasons).

I am 5'10", 178 lbs, normal build. I ordered a large and it just barely fits. The jersey is very comfortable and looks nice, but be aware of sizing when you order.

Good moisture wicking. Fitting accurate, Medium fits 6'0" 175lbs skin tight, but Ok. Large has slightly more room and is perfect. XL for those who like loose, but still doable.

Soft, wicks sweat well, unzips all the way (I don't like pullovers). Hi visibility material and color for early morning or evening rides. I read reviews of fit problems. I usually wear XL, so I ordered L. It's fitted but not tight. Liked it so much I ordered the green one, too.

I am 5'11 male, 185lbs, slightly overweight, big legs, thighs. I wear a 42R suit and 36/7 waist. The size Large jersey does not fit me well enough. The shoulders are too small so the whole thing pulls up. Further, the bottom of the jersey is not tapered enough, so unless you have a huge rear end, it will keep slipping up, despite the silicone grippers. The construction is very good, and the pockets are a nice touch. Next time I will not buy something that says it has room for a "winter belly." This has room for much more than that...

Also, I purchased all my gear from the Pearl Izumi "attack" line so that it would match. It doesn't. The "black" does not match between the socks, bibs, and jersey.
