This is a great cowbell... nice warm sound...overall great cowbell

I have this awesome garage band that is really grooving on the local scene. We were booking dates, the crowd loved our music, we met with record executives...yet, something was missing. We experimented with several different sounds before we realized we were missing a cowbell. We didn't just need a cowbell, we needed more cowbell.

After trying a variety of cowbell brands, sizes, and timbers, we came to the conclusion that the Pearl PCB6 Primero 6" Cowbell offered us the most cowbell for our money. We are now rocking out and giving everyone more cowbell.

This is a great cowbell. It is pretty easy to control how much it rings with proper technique, and it's loud when you hit it hard. It is a little lower tonally than I expected (more of a toonk than a tok, if that means anything), but I can't complain.

Outstanding tone, nice variations depending on where you strike it, very full sound and projects quite nicely. It mounted easily on my rack system and has lasted a few gigs so far.

As I've only had this for a month or so, and only played a few gigs - I will update my review if anything notable happens. Meanwhile, this cowbell is quite tasty.

Sounds like the bell from honky tonk woman by the Rolling Stones.

The welds were even, the material seems nice, tone is good. Fits well on my set up.

Good size, and quality at a great price. Hardware was bronze on mine.

I ordered a Latin Percussion Cow Bell Stand to hold it.

This is a LOUD cowbell that really cuts through, well, anything. I'll have this till the day I die. Not the most musical cowbell, I'd give it a 7.8/10 for tone. Overall good product for the money.

Great sound for the price. Very durable. I also bought the Basic Beat 8" rhymthm sticks to use as a beater. Together cost about $20.

Excellent finish, color, timbre... it's the most awesome cowbell.

But for the last time, pleeeeease... and I can't say this enough... I DON'T "just gotta have more cowbell". I already have one, and one is enough for renditions of "Don't Fear the Reaper", "Mississippi Queen", "You Should Be Dancin'" (etc. etc.) and 90% of the cowbell repertoire.

Any professional cowbeller knows that, and we take pride in our talent and work.

I was so excited about this cowbell for my husband's triathlons but there is no inner piece to clang against the bell. You need a drum stick or something. So bummed because it is a great size. I wish the description stated you need an additional piece of equipment. Many if the other cowbells indicate additional equipment is needed. I returned it. Customer service was great & processed the return quickly.
