5.0 out of 5 stars BEST I'VE WORN IN 10 YEARS!, February 18, 2009
I've never written a review but this shoe is worth my time to tell everyone that I think this is the best running shoe I've worn in 10 years of running. I need cushion and a light weight stable shoe and this cover all of those needs perfectly. The inside has no seams and feels like a slipper. I thought they would be to a little hard for long runs since they intially didn't feel as cushioned as my Asics Gel Cumulus but they have not bothered my feet on 6 mile runs so far. I'm very impressed and will buy Pearl Izumi brands from now on. Only grip is I want in more colors since I love my stuff to match my out fits from My Mottoz Active Wear!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pearl Izumi Running Shoe, October 17, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The Pearl Izumi running shoe is an extremely comfortable and light weight shoe. They are a perfect fit for my 8M feet. I love the gray shoestrings (think: less washing than white ones). In six months, I'll purchase another pair.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and supportive, December 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have been searching for some time now for a pair of running shoes that will support my extremely low arch and over-pronation. Since there are no stores that I have been able to find in my area that sell this brand, I was glad to find them on Amazon. The seller was offering a $20 coupon which sweetened the deal and made these shoes affordable so I decided to give them a try. I have had no foot pain w/ these shoes so far. I do mainly treadmill and some road running. The fit, I feel, is snug but accurate. Very happy w/ these shoes!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best running shoes I've found, February 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love these shoes. It's my second pair, switched from NewBalance with an ill-fated pair of Asics in between. They are VERY supportive, and feel quite firm and padded when you first put them on. I'm an Athena marathoner, so I need a serious shoe to carry my bulk over miles and miles of training and these hold up great. The laces aren't as nice as the twisty NB ones, but they stay tied pretty well. The upper is breathable. I wear a narrow in NB, but these fit me well in normal widths, which seems to indicate that they may run a bit narrow. I love everything about them except their stupid ads in the running magazines...I'm the slow one in the back that they're complaining about.

5.0 out of 5 stars triathlon running shoes, January 30, 2010

This is the second pair of these shoes I have worn. The first pair was great but tended to squeak when wet when I ran with no socks. I decided to give the brand another try. The fit is good and the seamless inner lining helps you avoid blisters. This helps when competing in the shorter triathlons because I can use them without socks. I would advise wearing socks for any distance over a 10K.
