Just have this thing about tight biker shorts...actually these have a removable biker short liner with the butt pad but attaches to the inside the shorts.. does not have a lot of drag and are very cool (temperature cool). Great shorts if the tight short thing is and issue like it is for me...plane on getting a few more pairs in other colors.

Bought this and have ride 50 miles with it. This is my first cycling shorts and was most impress by the pad. I use to have problems with my saddle and have change several of them including Max Flite gel Italia salle (cost me a bomb) but my sit bone still feel sore even after only 1 hr. But after I got his pants, It solved the saddle pain issue. It provides a cushion so good that i don't even feel my saddle even riding for 4 hrs straight. This pants has 2 layers, the first is the skin tights pants that feels like a giant black underwear with a blue cushion pad at the bottom and outer layer is the stretchable nylon shorts with 4 pockets (2 on ea side),and it extend all the way to the knees. The size provided is pretty accurate. The best thing about this is a cycling shorts in disguise and I can drop by coffee shop for some bagel and coffee without alarming the public with the sausage look.

I've used these on three rides now, about 60 miles total, and they have been excellent. I thought that I would get sick of the swish-swish of the nylon as I rode, but these don't swish at all, in fact they are as comfortable to ride in as my spandex shorts without the "I'm a road warrior" look. I haven't noticed any disadvantages of the baggyness. The pockets are good. I gave them 4 stars because the chamois in the liner short is a bit stiff and strange. Once I'm on the bike I don't notice, but off the bike, definitely feels like a diaper. It might break in a bit after more miles. Also, the large was a bit big in the waist for me (32" waist approx) and the built-in adjustment loops only contract the back of the short. I cinched them up and they work okay, but I'm not totally confident in the velcro.

Good for trail riding. Come with hook on padded liner. Shorts are well made, mid length. Come with zippered pockets.
