The inner chamois also wicks moisture away from the skin for heat management and comfort. The Slice Short's eight-panel design eliminates potential pressure points from the inseam while flatlocked stitching provides a smooth zero abrasion surface on the short. With traditional 9.25-inch inseam leg length, the short provides maximum muscle support and protection while Lycra spandex leg grippers hold the shorts in position.
The Four-way stretch 3-D Elite chamois is gender-specific and reduces pressure points with differentiated padding levels in key areas. The high-performance chamois features natural silver antimicrobial fibers that reduce bacteria and help regulate temperature for a comfortable, long-lasting short. With 13 millimeters of moisture wicking, plush microfiber padding, the chamois provides all the protection you will need for long, grueling rides.
Like all Pearl Izumi products the Slice Ultrasensor Cycling Short has a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, that excludes failures from accidents, misuse, improper care, or normal wear. For best results Pearl Izumi recommends washing its products with detergents free of additives, such as fabric softeners and perfumes, because detergents with additives leave "surfactants" behind on a fabric's fibers that inhibit the technical performance. Hang dry the product or dry it on a low or warm dryer setting. Never use a hot dryer setting or use a commercial dryer as this will damage the fabric's performance.
